[approaching recording device with a sigh]
A long, long time ago... I heard a president reference a quotation-
"Everyone has two lives.
The second one begins
when you realize
that you only have one."~Steven Sotloff
Not knowing the individual who said this, nor understanding the context and inspiration that motivated him to write those words... I am deeply moved and inspired by them and what they seem to potentially represent. These words resonate on many levels. Isolated and floating in a void of my ignorance and faulty memory of an overheard bit of news coverage whilst cooling my heals at some hole in the wall bar. I remember the moment clearly...
The simple sentence speaks volumes to me. You may dismiss it as conjecture, but what is the nature of innovative thinking? Where does insight come from? What brings forth the images and concepts that leads a person down a path of rationalization towards a given conclusion?Life.
It has many stages, transitions, cycles.
Most of which we generally respond to with questioning-"What the bloody hell is going on here?"
"Why am I changing?"
And my favorite-
"Does anyone really know what they are doing??"
No.
Categorically, and unequivocally... No.
Forgive me, if I've said it before.... I have a tendency to repeat myself.[...pause. he sips some water. sounds of glassware...]
Life.
It's duality. The dualistic nature of it.
We are kept distracted, and complacent, and discouraged from investigating our own experiences of Life, internally. We've been cajoled into complicity in laughing at those who see the truth, and scoffing in the face of evidence.
Some epic moments during the course of history, global or personal, will sometimes trigger realizations.
"Everyone has Two lives"
This... well this statement can be interpreted many ways.
[ lost segment... static and digital noise makes transcribing not possible at this time.

Breath....BREATH!
just breath and let that sink in.
accept it.It's real.
[muffled and spoken away from recording device, lower volume] ehhh... You humans with your finite language, drives me crazy sometimes![a sneeze, pause, sharp intake of breath... then a cough; followed sharply by another sneeze][he clears his throat, and mutters....] that one hurt more.... i think i'm developing an allergy... [he clears his throat, again]
[returning to the microphone]
But I digress... There is a moment on the verge of happening that I'm going to call the Zero Hour.Explaining it is challenging. You will come to understand what it is going to mean for you, and for all of humanity.
The simplest way of explaining is to call it a... transition of sorts. Dare I say... a metamorphosis.
Everything is choice. There are no accidents.
Even the things that appear to be accidental. Sometimes especially those![silence... then static. recording ends]
[/end transcription]
