"Here we go again," Soobin let out a long sigh, trying to hide the disapproval on his face. On the other hand, Taehyun was clapping excitedly at the news.
When Yeonjun and Beomgyu officially got back together, Yeonjun asked when a good time would be to tell Soobin and Taehyun. Beomgyu said the ideal answer would be never since he knew Soobin would be angry. Beomgyu told his best friend that he was going to take his time and play hard to get, and well- that didn't go as planned.
Can you really blame Beomgyu though? Yeonjun is hot.
The couple tried their best to keep their relationship a secret until Beomgyu was ready, but Taehyun made that hard. Since Yeonjun was living with Taehyun, he couldn't go anywhere without the younger boy knowing.
"Where are you going?"
"You got back home really late today."
"How come you're always leaving me by myself lately?"
There are only so many excuses Yeonjun could use for these types of questions. Looking back at it now, Yeonjun figured he could have spent not as much time with Beomgyu to make things look less suspicious. It's hard when every waking moment, Yeonjun could barely breathe without his new boyfriend by his side.
Can you really blame Yeonjun though? Beomgyu was hot.
The two boys decided it was time to just bite the bullet and officially announce their re-relationship.
Beomgyu invited Soobin and Taehyun to the bakery to test some new pastries that Beomgyu had baked. They agreed, expecting to see some new desserts, not Choi Yeonjun standing next to Beomgyu behind the counter.
The look on Soobin's face was priceless, but now he was going on and on about how this was a bad idea.
"I mean you guys didn't really take the time to connect and get to know each other again. A lot has happened in four years, and I just think-"
Taehyun pointed at an indigo pastry in the glass, completely ignoring Soobin, "What is this one?"
"I don't have a name yet, but it's based off of blue eye tea," Beomgyu explained, also ignoring Soobin, "It has notes of apple, hibiscus, rosehip and orange. I actually recommend-"
Soobin tapped on the top of the glass impatiently, "Is anyone even listening to me?"
"I am if it counts for anything," Yeonjun responded, and Soobin rolled his eyes.
Beomgyu frowned at the action, "You don't have to worry Soobin. I want this."
"Come on Soobin," Taehyun chirped in, "Just be happy for them."
"Taehyun, I love you but please be quiet." Soobin glared at him, "You were not there when Yeonjun broke up with Beomgyu for the first time." He returned his gaze towards Yeonjun, "You weren't there either because you decided to ghost him." Soobin now looked towards Beomgyu, "In fact, I was the only one that was there. Nobody has ever seen that side of you before; how hurt you were." Soobin hit on the glass once more, "So God help me if you make Beomgyu feel like that again I will end you. I don't give a fuck if you and Taehyun are self-declared 'besties'. I don't give a fuck how much you love Beomgyu or how much he loves you. If you even think about hurting him, I will destroy your life."
Yeonjun nervously chuckled but didn't say anything. Kai had already done that. Stripped him of his career, his safety, his home- Beomgyu was the only thing left that has kept him happy. If he lost Beomgyu, there wouldn't be anything left for Soobin to destroy.
"Fight. Fight. Fight," Taehyun nonchalantly cheered form the sidelines.
"Huh? Fight? I'm not-" Soobin was thrown off, "I- what are you going on about?"
