Here We Go Again - Beomgyu x Yeonjun

        Kai returned to Yeonjun's house, both mind and feet exhausted. Everyone around him is happy and finding love but Kai. He's always left alone. Nobody could love a monster like him.

"Oh no, Kai, honey," Mrs. Choi noticed him walk through the door. "You look sad. What's wrong?"

"Ahh it's nothing," Kai said, not wanting to bother her.

When Kai and Yeonjun broke up, Kai didn't plan on staying here. It felt wrong.

Kai pleaded with his manager to let him get a hotel room, but he was shot down. When that happened, he tried to ask all of his fellow coworkers if they would let Kai stay with them. Not a single person said yes.

Kai also attempted to find a place to rent out of his own pocket, but he couldn't find anything he could afford. Despite his celebrity status, he doesn't have a ton of money. The company underpays all of their actors, Kai barely has enough to eat sometimes.

Eventually, Yeonjun's parents started to notice that Kai was coming home alone. They kept questioning him about what was going on until he broke down in front of him. Kai admitted that they broke up and he has no idea where Yeonjun was. He apologized for still being in their house, despite the breakup, and promised that that he will leave them alone as soon as he is able to meet the means to do so.

Yeonjun's mother, oblivious to the abuse, reassured Kai and told him to stay as long as he needed to. Kai was now family after all, that's at least what Mrs. Choi said.

Kai knew that that statement couldn't be any further from the truth. They didn't care about Kai, instead they pitied him. Kai knew the moment that Yeonjun came back home, Kai would be kicked to the curb.

"Don't lie to me," Mrs. Choi insisted. "It's obvious that something is on your mind. I've already told you that we're family and you can talk to me about anything."

Kai mentally rolled his eyes; there she goes with that family bullshit again.

"I just... you know... it's just... Yeonjun he..."

"Just breathe," Mr. Choi joined in on the conversation, "Take your time to collect your thoughts before you say what you want to say."

"You said Yeonjun's name?" Mrs. Choi widened her eyes. "Have you seen my baby?"

Kai slowly nodded his head, "I saw him with another boy at the park."

Yeonjun's mother gasped, "Do you know who it was?"

"I don't know his name but it's the boy with long hair who own that bakery," Kai furrowed his eyebrows as the memories of that night flooded his mind, "I saw them kiss."

Mrs. Choi looked over to her husband, "Do you think it's Beomgyu again? Could they have gotten back together?"

"Seems so," Mr. Choi pondered in thought. "I just don't understand why Yeonjun would go back to Beomgyu."

Kai perked up at the name. It sounds really familiar, like Kai knows him from somewhere else. Yeonjun could have talked about him while they were still together but that isn't it. He knows he's heard that name from a different person, but who?

Mrs. Choi noticed that Kai had tensed up and returned her attention back on him, "I'm so sorry Kai. I didn't mean to change the conversation off of you. Are you okay?"

"I mean, no not really," Kai frowned. "I knew after he dumped me that we wouldn't get back together, but I didn't expect him to move on so quickly."

"How could he do this to you?" Mrs. Choi frowned. "You loved him so much and treated him so well. I'm so sorry Kai you don't deserve this."
