I hope you all enjoy that one as much as you did this one. one more chapter left in this one folks I love you all have a great day! 💕

Later on The next day We walk into the apartment the for this first time since Vivi arrived. I take in the surroundings James is holding the car seat that has the baby in it. "Welcome home baby," James whispers to the newborn. she stirs a little but remains asleep.

"James I can take her I need to go and feed her anyways," I tell him.I hand him the bags. And unstrap the infant from the car seat. she begins to whimper a little as I lift her up. I begin to hum softly to ease the small child it doesn't work she begins crying louder. "It's okay baby girl," I coo bouncing a little knowing that Walker always seemed to calm down a little when I'd do that.

I finally reach the nursery. after quickly changing the diaper I sit down on the rocking chair and unhook my shirt and bra. I begin feeding my baby I hold her close. She is so precious I think to myself as I continue breastfeeding her. I don't know how I got so lucky to have such a beautiful child. Once she is done eating I begin humming to her as I rock her back to sleep. With a tender kiss to her little head I lay her in her crib I turn the monitor on and exit the room

First Smile/laugh

James and I still on the couch watching the now 4 month old baby mindlessly toy with her teething ring while lying on the floor awhile lying on the blanket. I smile at her as think to myself how cute she is. These past four months have been to say the least hard not being able to have a full nights sleep and in return running on empty when it comes to the energy to do my show.

I lift the little girl up in my arms. I begin smiling at her a admiring the beautiful life James and I created. She begins to crack an almost toothless smile. Tears form in my eyes as I see her lips turn up she begins to giggle lightly its soft and light. Her first smile and laugh.

Crawling

Our little girl isn't so little anymore she's almost 8 months old. Where has the time gone? We watch as she continues to play with her baby toys. she's grown so much since we've brought her home. she's on a constant sleep and meal schedule I couldn't be happier with her.

"Idina look at her I think she's trying to roll onto her stomach," James says as I'm in the kitchen preparing lunch.

I rush into the kitchen and watch as the baby girl successfully flips onto her stomach. she then begins to wiggle her way over to me. i smile as she continues almost crawling once she reaches my legs I bend down and lift her up in my arm "My amazing baby girl," I say as I kiss her cheek. She then reciprocates the motion attempting to kiss my cheek in return.

First words

Tomorrow is Vivi's 1st birthday where has the time gone? It's seems just yesterday she was in my belly and now she's almost a her old. Vivi is in her high chair picking away at some Cheerios. She's now completely on solid food which makes me happy. As she continues to pick away at the food I hear her mumble something. "Mama," she coos stretching her arms out to me.

Tears spring to my eyes. "James she... she just.. " I sputter

He walks into the kitchen. "What's wrong with her?" He asks in a worried tone of voice.

"There's nothing wrong with her She said her first word," I respond still wiping tears from the corners of my eyes.

James wraps his arms around me "Mama," she coos again

"I love you my baby girl," I tell her sweetly lifting her out of the high chair and into my arms. I kiss her head as she begins to fall asleep.

1st Birthday

The day is here. Our darling little girl is turning one. I put her in a lavender colored dress with some little white sandals along with a purple headband that has a large white flower on it. The raven haired child looks more adorable than ever I kiss her chubby little cheeks earning a sweet little giggle in return and I begin to get myself ready.

Once the party stuff is all set up and everyone is ready for the day we wait for our family and a few friends to arrive

A few of my closest friends from the If/Then cast along with my sister and parents arrive to the apartment. They give her tons of amazing gifts many of which are toys and new outfits. She seems just as content however playing around the best she can with her brother and cousins.

James pulls out his phone and begins recording as we start singing "Happy Birthday" to our daughter for the 1st time. As we finish the song she does as most 1 year olds would do when given a beautifully made individual cake she smashes her little hands into it and begins stuffing her face. We get many pictures of the endearing moment.

Walking

Another 2 months have come and gone. were finally beginning planning the wedding for the fall of next year. raising our 2 kids has proven itself a challenge but not one I'm not willing to take.

I sit on the floor looking through wedding magazines getting inspiration. Before I know it I have a certain little one year old crawling towards me. "Hi there baby girl," I coo as she makes her way into my lap.

She has been standing up on her own a lot lately but she still has yet to take her first steps. I lift her up and stand her in front of me never letting my hands leave her torso just incase she falls she begins to pick up one of her little legs and sets it down she begins to turn around realizing that she's not going anywhere with mommy in the way.

Once she turns around I take that as my cue to stand up and hold her little hands as she begins to take her first few baby steps. They're small and subtle just as my figurative baby steps were a year or two ago before her. James and all the wonderful people around me have me the love and support that helped me through the horrible place I'd been in. baby steps I remind my self baby steps.
