Its time

James POV

The first show of our two show Saturday has come and gone. My plans for this two show day however are far from what they normally are on a two show day like this. I feel my nerves well up inside me. I look at myself in the mirror. I think to my self you've got this Snyder, you've been waiting for this moment for a month now. I can't believe that I'm finally going to ask Idina to be my wife. I smile at the very thought of us maybe having a kid together someday, watch them as they grow up and have their own spouses and children, then growing old together just being together until death do us part.

The ring I've picked out is beautiful and will look even more beautiful when she puts it on her finger. I've also gotten her a bouquet of roses one of them is fake it's represents that no matter what around us dies and fades out our marriage will last forever, My method of proposal required a lot of begging of Idina to be on Hey Kid but it worked everything's planned I just need to execute my plan.

I grab the camera Broadway.com gave me to use for vlogging turn it on and begin filming "Hey everyone today is a very special edition of Hey Kid I'm going to ask the ever so lovely Idina Menzel to marry me, stay tuned to see what she says," I pause the recoding

As I'm walking towards the dressing room I catch Walker playing right outside of it. "Walker could I grab you for a second," I ask him. I bend down onto my knee so I can be on eye level with him. "So today's the day I'm going to ask your mom to marry me. I want you to be apart of this too, all you have to do is wait out here with the rest of the cast. You've got a special job I want you to hold the ring and bouquet for me can you do that,"

"Yeah," he replies with a smile I hand him the ring and ruffle his hair. All the cast mates who are waiting outside wish me luck as I turn the camera on knock on the door  "Come in," she says I step in to the room and close the door quickly so she doesn't see all of the people outside her door.

Idinas POV.

James walks into my dressing room with a glow on his face I don't know what this glow is for but I go with it. he's got his hey kid camera out. We set it up on my makeup table and begin our Q and A.

I try my best to answer the many questions the fans on Twitter have asked me most of them had to do with the show and some were really creative everyday questions you'd ask to get to know more about a person. The others? well we're not going to get into those.

"Well I think we have time for one more question," James starts off I can tell he's got a little bit of a nervous look on his face he takes my hand and walks me out of the dressing room I think that it's a bit odd but I go with it.

When we exit the door I'm met by a slew of cast mates and my son its not until I see James drop down onto one knee with the ring that was previously in Walker's  hand that I know what's going on There's a million different cameras flashing pictures and video taping the moment.

"Idina," he starts once everything's settled down  "You're the most beautiful, amazing, caring and talented woman and one of best mothers I know, I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for you, you've taught me compassion and understanding along with so many other things. You deserve the entire world which I know I can't always give you but I'll certainly try. You complete me," I choke back tears "I love you more and more everyday and I want us to spend the rest of our lives together me, you Walker and whoever else may come our way Idina Kim Menzel would you marry me?" I ask tears well up in my eyes I'm filled with nothing but love for this man  I know he's  the one.

I can't seem to get the one simple three letter word word out. I finally respond by nodding my head yes he slips the ring onto the proper finger. I admire it for a split second as he stands up. I throw my arms around him we smash our lips together in a slow passionate kiss. As we break the kiss Walker hands me a boquet of gorgeous red roses. "Ill love you until the last flower dies out," James says taking my free hand . I then notice one of them looks slightly different form the others. It's a fake rose. I know automatically what he means. that last flower will last forever just as our love will. I don't where I got so lucky to have a guy like James but whether it was destiny or something else I wouldn't change a thing.

Authors note: Yay for short chapters! I hope you enjoyed the proposal! Yes it's finally happening I plan for these next few chapters to be developing more of the relationship between the two of them as we've been focusing a lot on Walker lately. I plan on writing about 5 to 7 more chapters for this story
and I'll write something else I'm always open up to suggestions I was thinking something with glee (focusing on Shelby of course 😝) but I'm not sure.
