Time skip to the following Monday ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼

Colette had slowly started to recover from the recent events. Her mother had attempted to apologies once over the phone, but Colette simply didn't spare a thought. She was reminded why she barely speaks to her mother, and realized she was the only family she had left, since her brother died in a car accident when he was 17 and her father was now dead.

A lot had happened to Jeff over the last week, but he had made sure to call Colette almost everyday, since he was to busy to visit. He had received an offer from Columbia records, and Jeff needed space to figure out weather this was the path he wanted to take, he was still on a search for more band members and he knew deep down he was happy with the gigs at Sin-e... but the gigs increased in population more and more. Jeff knew he only had around a month's worth of Monday's before Sin-e was to overcrowded when he would perform. Things had started to kick off with Colette, and he knew he was planning on officially asking her to be his. So many things ran in his mind, but he knew he was beyond happy to see Colette again at his gig tonight.

Colette was so excited to finally see Jeff tonight, she walked over to her brown, wooden, bed side table and kneeled down to her record player, and placed the smiths record on, the one she had gotten with Jeff. She got changed into a small red and black dress with her leather jacket on top. She had also styled her 2 front pieces pulled back with a black ribbon and left the rest of her hair down. She put on mascara, lipstick, and some blush, glanced in the mirror and nodded with satisfaction. Colette decided to walk since she was early, on her way she admired the wind that blew in her face and hair, the fast cars driving on the road to her left. She slowly lifted up her arms and left them in the air, smiles and closed her eyes. At this point in time she had never felt so free and happy, and she didn't know why she felt like this so suddenly. She opened her eyes and hummed to the beat of her favorite song by the smiths.

When Colette arrived she was just on time, she walked past the long crowd piled outside and walked to the front door, she opened the door and the bell rang, the bartender glanced over and smiled at the familiar face. She walked over to her reserved spot at the front of the stage. Jeff walked onto the stage and thanked everybody for coming. He sat down on the stool that had been set up and played a long list of songs, some Colette had not heard. She drunk two drinks, as she decided to go easy. While Jeff sung Colette glanced around the room and turned around scanning the area. She saw people squished everywhere trying to get a glimpse of the angel on stage. She smiled at the success of her favorite person. A few more songs and Jeff sat back down on the stool once again. "Thank you... Thank you" Jeff thanked the crowed who had been clapping at his just performed. "One more song. But this one is special, for a special someone." The crowed clapped and Colette stared intensely at the man on the stage who had yet to lock eyes with hers. "For a while I have been getting to know this special someone, and I have fallen madly in love with them." As Jeff finished the sentence he glanced at Colette with loving eyes. "You have bewitched me, body and soul. When you look at me I can't move. When I hear your voice, I begin to soar and fly. Within your arms I have nothing to fear. Just talking to you... it makes my day and I have never felt that way with anyone else." Jeff speaks with a few pauses trying to find the words. "Colette" he speaks still looking at the blushing girl. "This song is for you my love" The crowd claps, and a few screams and whistles can be heard. Colette pinched her arm slowly checking that this all was not one her silly little dreams. She was shocked and stuck in her place like mud. Jeff began stumming familiar chords to not just Colette but everybody else. Her favorite song.
