Continuing from last part ╰┈➤

A few days had past since Colette and Jeff had spoken. Mavis was by her best friends side as was the boys with Jeff. Colette didn't see Jeff's face and she made sure of it. She didn't know who that girl was that Jeff was with. A million of thoughts raced threw her head 'what if i didn't stop them?' was the main one 'would they sleep together'. Colette didn't even go to any of Jeff's shows. Mavis had told the girl that he had been performing quite awfully. Jeff had tried to leave notes under her door, knocking and calling out to her, he even left flowers at her door step a few times. Yet, Colette didn't budge. Her bruises had gone down, some even almost completly gone.

The next day ・❥・

Colette woke up and read the time she groaned, stretched and got up from her comfy bed, she placed her fluffy slippers on her feet and started packing for leaving, she had decided that she was going to go back home and try to forget and just move on with her boring life. She opened her door to go and get some coffee to assist her in getting through the day. When she opened the door she was met with a box, with a letter on top the writing read 'Beautiful Colette' she couldn't help herself but to smile at the gracious letters and the small rose placed gently on top of the box. She kneeled down on her knees and opened the pink box. There sat a new and improved camera, just for her. The model she had been dreaming of, the newest of the new. She felt her face get hot at the kind act. On the back of the letter read 'Meet me by the river at 5:00pm'. Colette took the box and letter back into her room and placed it down on her bed. She went to get coffee and cleaned her room, meanwhile thinking about what she was going to do. When Mavis arrived home with her boyfriend Michael, Colette told the two about it and asked them both for advice and by the end she had decided she would not forgive Jeff but she was going to still meet up with him and give him the benefit of the doubt. For the remainder of the day Colette spent her time sorting out how to work her new camera and took a few practice photos. Time flew by fast, and Colette found her self in the bathroom mirror getting ready to meet with her lover. She clipped half of her hair up and curled the ends and she changed into a flowy, summer, flower - patterned dress, with a denim jacket on top. She wore her chunky slides and put her purse and new camera around her shoulder. She did light make-up with a nice peachy lipstick. A different look for Colette as summer was near and the temperate had changed.

Colette looked down at her gold watch as the time struck 5:00pm she glanced around. She sat on a wooden, old park bench in front of the main part of the river.

Time flew by and the time read 5:30pm and the girl sighed. The sun was starting to set and she no longer felt the need to wait for him. As she stood up and turned around towards the direction of the apartment the few had been staying in she felt a soft hand gently touch her shoulder. "Colette... I'm sorry I am late, it's not the impression I wanted" Jeff sighed, red face, sweat dripping down the side of his face, his  white shirt with sweat marks visible. She scanned the man up and down and didn't feel the want to reply to his apology. "I had a meeting and my car broke down, I had to run here... I'm.... sorry" Jeff further explained taking a few breathes in between. "It's alright" Colette stated simply. "Come with me".

around 15 minutes of walking later, the two had arrived at a small picnic area up a small green grassy hill looking over the river and town. Colette sat down and took her new camera out to take a picture of the beautiful view. Once the photo had been taken she turned to her side where the boy had been watching with a small smile plastid on his face. "Thank you so much for this, you didn't have to" Colette said, still mad but felt the need to thank the man. "I wanted too... I'm glad you like it beautiful" Jeff replied. Colette broke eye contact and fiddled with the bottom lace of her dress. "I brought you up here to apologize. I know I always am apologizing cause I also seme to make so many mistakes. And I understand if you don't accept my apology and we go our separate ways again. I keep screwing up" Jeff said as silence filled the air. Colette still looked down at the floor. Jeff gracefully and carefully grabbed the girls face and softly made her head turn to stare into his eyes. "Col, I'm so sorry. It wasn't what it looked like okay? I promise. The goblin told me her mother died and I felt bad for her. I was waiting for you at the entrance and she just appeared, I didn't know what to do she was crying and I just... ugh. I'm really sorry. I hope you can believe me, nothing would've happened. I wouldn't do that to you C, I love you" Jeff said still staring into the girls eyes, as he strokes the girls cheek slightly. "I really love you" he finishes. "I'm sorry Jeff. I accept your apology and I believe you because I love you too" Colette replies. The two share a long passionate kiss before wrapping up the night. The two walk home hand in hand and when they arrive home and see no one home at the apartment. Colette walks into the kitchen for a glass of fresh water when she sees a small piece of paper on the fridge, held up by a magnet. 'Gone to dinner be back soon' Jeff walked behind the girl and placed his hands around her waist, spinning her around and kissing her lovingly. One thing led to the next and the two laid down in Colette's bedroom to continue on with a night full of love and lust.
