aurora woke up for school with derek nowhere to be found, she sent him a quick text that she doubted he would get back to and got ready for school.

the girl arrived at the school and when she got out of her car she saw scott and stiles both looking at her, she rolled her eyes and scoffed to herself grabbing her bag from the passenger side.

she had to walk past the two boys to get into the school but when she got closer they began walking towards her. "i don't wanna hear it." she put her hand up to the boys and continued walking.

"we're sorry we didn't believe you." scott spoke to the girl as they both followed behind her. "derek told me everything last night."

"oh, so because it came from derek you now believe me?" she snapped. "i told you as much as i knew and you didn't believe me and neither of you could trust me." aurora turned to look at the two, who genuinely looked sorry. "just leave me alone." she finished and began walking to her first class, which scott and stiles were also in so they followed behind her silently.

...

aurora slumped in her seat and stiles sat next to her, then scott sat in front of stiles. the girl watched as the teacher brought the grades back for the test she did a few days ago.

"if derek isn't the alpha, if he's not the one who bit you, then who did?" stiles whispered to scott, but aurora easily overheard.

scott shrugged. "i don't know."

"did the alpha kill the bus driver?" stiles asked.

scott was silent for a moment. "i don't know."

stiles sat back in his seat and let out a sigh before leaning back over to scott. "does allison's dad know about the..."

scott quickly turned around to stiles. "i don't know!"

the teacher brought around scott and stiles' test results, finally, she got round to aurora who got a b on the test. she shrugged to herself not really giving a shit.

"dude, you need to study more." stiles said to scott, when scott didn't say anything stiles spoke again. "that was a joke. scott, it's one joke. you're gonna make it up. do you want help studying?"

scott sighed. "no. i'm studying with allison after school today."

"that's my boy." stiles hyped up his best friend, making aurora roll her eyes.

"we're just studying."

"uh-uh. no, you're not."

"no, i'm not?" scott questioned.

"not if i'm forced to live vicariously through you. if you go to her house today and squander that colossal opportunity, i swear to god i'll have you de-balled." stiles spoke too loudly on his last words.

scott turned around. "okay. just... stop with the question, man."

"done. no more questions. no more talk about the alpha or derek and aurora." stiles told him, making aurora slowly turn her head at the boy but he didn't look back at her. "especially derek and aurora. who still scares me." he said quietly.
