Professor Alex's classroom

Y/n:A-Autobots? What are autobots?

Alex: They're the guardians, see on remnant, we call them well, the guardians as I just said. But to themselves and probably many other places in the universe, they call themselves autobots. 

Y/n: Oh...is that their...race name?

Alex: No, it's their-Oh dear...I have a lot to tell.

Alex dropped his head into his hands before taking a deep breath. After he was done, he looked back up and gestured for Y/n to take a seat.

Alex: Alright Y/n, listen closely. Everything I say is true alright?

Y/n: Uh...ok?

Alex walked over to a white board and took out a marker. 

Alright: So, from the beginning, the guardians are not from our planet. You got that? *Y/n nods* Good, ok, now the quick history.

Alex drew a circle and wrote the name: CYBERTRON. Y/n looked in confusion at the drawing, he tried to speak, but Alex cut him off.

Alex: This right here? *Points at the drawing* This is guardians home world, called Cybertron, this is where they come from. 

Alex tapped the whiteboard rapidly, hoping to get it through Y/n's head.

Alex: Here, lived millions of sentient robots called cybertronians.

Sideswipe pov

Sideswipe: Hey, you're doing pretty good at explaining this.

Alex: *Thought* Sideswipe not now, I am literally shaking in my boots.

No pov

Alex: Alright, now these sentient robots then had a civil war, multiple factions were created, but the 2 biggest were the autobots, and the decepticons. The guardians we have, were autobots during this war.

Y/n: So, we have autobots, then I'm guess those things that attacked during initiation were those, uh, decepti-gods right? And those 2 massive ones with arms cannons? Are they some as well?

Alex: CONs Y/n, deceptiCONs, but yes, those 2 with the cannons were decepticons.

Y/n: And the things? The "hybrids" as Optimus calls them?

Alex: Those things...Optimus and Sideswipe have never seen them. This means somehow, the decepticons got some of Atlas' technology and managed intertwin it with grimm biology. But now! Back to the civil war!

Alex ended the conversation and turned back to the white board.

Alex: Alright, now this war, was a LOOONG one alright, it spanned for millions of years!

He wrote on the white board "Millions of years" above cybertron. Which got Y/n speaking again.

Y/n: Millions?! Of years?! How long can these robots live for?!

Alex:...There living breathing robot's Y/n, it's easy to assume they can live forever given that they are in good shape.

Y/n's mouth dropped.

Y/n: How long have you been around Optimus?

Optimus: Hmm, it must be around 9 million years now, give or take.

Y/n: Holy shit...

Optimus: The interesting part is that in humans years, I can be considered a man in their late 40's.
