Ruby pov

Medical Staff: Next 2 rooms on the left, the doctor will be here shortly.

Weiss: Thank you, ma'am.

The medical staff member nodded her head and walked away.

Not waiting any longer, and quickly ran into the first room

Weiss: Ruby!

I ignored Weiss' remark and opened the door, tears slowly formed in my eyes as I saw Yang.

Ruby: Yang...

Quietly, I entered the room, my attention was only focused on my sister. The world around just seemed to fade away while staring at Yang, her body completely bandaged, leaving her eyes and forehead the only things visible to see.

Ruby: Yang I...I'm sorry! We should have never done this! I shouldn't have let us do this! I wasn't being a leader; I was being a stupid child wanting to go on adventure! I wanted to feel as if we were doing something good for everyone! Instead, I almost got everyone killed!

I dropped my head and began to cry.

Ruby: Because of me, you, Sun, Neptune, and Blake may never be able to be huntsman. I'm sorry...

No pov

The door to the hospital room slowly opened and a figure slowly entered the room. It slowly made its way towards the crying red reaper until it was right behind her. The figure then put a hand on Ruby's shoulder, she gasped before turning around and seeing another reason to make her cry.

Ruby: *Wail* DAD!

Ruby quickly lunged towards the figure, who was Taiyang, Ruby and Yang's father. Without a second thought, Ruby tightly hugged her dad, Tai returned the hug, letting her younger daughter cry on his chest.

Tai: Ruby, I'm so glad you safe. When Ozpin called, I just felt my world stop.

Ruby: I'm sorry dad, this! This was all my fault! If I had been a leader like I was supposed to, Yang, everyone else would be ok!

Ruby continued to cry and wail, all the while Tai was only able to hold her and console her, questions would come later.

Second room

Weiss pov

Nurse: So, these 2 aren't from Beacon?

Weiss: That is correct, these 2 recently came from Mistral for the tournament.

Nurse: Well, this will be a long report to fill out. I'll need to contact Haven's headmaster in order to inform him of injured students.

I nodded grimly in agreeance as I turned back to see the 2 boys in the hospital beds. The fact they were somehow in stable condition feels like a miracle itself. Whatever treatment has been implemented; it is working wonders.

Nurse: Welp, I'm off to start the report, do you need anything Ms. Schnee?

The nurse called to me, but I shook my head.

Weiss: I'm alright, thank you.

Nurse: Very well

The nurse nodded and proceeded to walk out of the room when someone ran into her.

Nurse: Oh! My apologies doctor

Doctor: It's quite alright, I was coming to check up on the 4. *Turns to me* They have visitors today!
