Summering : Both Lumine and Aether has developed feelings for Xiao since he(x) moved to their school. Lumine's was pretty obvious but for Aether...he kept his a secret as he clearly does not want to break his sister's heart.

Lumine pov

Last week, Aether was murdered in our house when i was outside buying groceries. We are still investigating the house to see any suspicions about who could've done it. 

I bet you 10000 dollars that you can't guess how much i cried that day. I've been going trough his stuffs throwing away things that aren't that important but keeping some things which reminds me of him.

I was going through his books when i saw his diary, i started going through it when a page caught my interest. it had dried tears all over it.

Dear Diary

          This one's about the boy I cannot love. I would love to be you're lover one day, kiss you, hug you and do all the things normal couples do. 

But that is not possible in this universe. That is because my sister loves you and I love her more than i love you. I may not seem like it but...when it comes to Lumine, i would do anything for her.

I would try to move on but that is not mentally possible. I do not want to interrupt you and Lumine's relationship. 

My sister does not compare to anyone. I knew this fact would've hurt me more than anything else. 

If i had a chance with you in another universe, i would wait for you...Xiao. But for this universe i wish you and Lumine have an amazing life.

As i was reading this tears fall from my eyes, if only you knew Aether... I wasn't the one Xiao loved. It was you. It was you all along! But i'm not even mad...

If i could go back in time, i would've told you everything....! I wouldn't have lost my brother...
