Today the day where the plaza gets bombed. Since Basen is going to celebrate the Kings birthday, I don't need to go.

Cale looked out the window at the bell tower at the entrance of the plaza.

The kids said they found nine bombs. Last time, there were ten. Three of those they found were disguised as objects and six are placed around the plaza. But where is the other one? There were definitely ten bombs. The kids might've missed one but I doubt that it can hide from a dragon.

Would they change their approach?

Or will they install last minute?

If I was bombing a place, what would I do?

I would...

"Cale!" A voice called, making him glance towards the sound.

A red kitten came running towards him, stopping at his feet.

"When are we going?"

"Soon" Cale replied. People start arriving around 8. The celebration starts at 9, as well as the bombing. We should probably get there at 7:30. Maybe earlier in case we run into an unforeseen circumstance. "We will leave in an hour"

Hong nodded and went to tell his younger siblings.

An hour later, they were ready.

"Go over the rules once again" Cale said looking at the two kids in front of him wearing all black clothing.

"One, if it looks dangerous or something is wrong, run away straight away. Even if no one has noticed yet because our lives are important" Hong started.

"Two, once it is 8:59, leave right away even if we haven't dismantled the bomb, because our lives are important" On continued.

"Three, if we do get caught, we stay together since it is safer to be with someone than to be alone. Prioritise our survival because our lives are important" the black dragon finished.

"Good" Cale nodded. "Let's go"

He once again, jumped out the window and was soon followed by two kids and an invisible dragon.

4 bombs were on the North, South, East and West parts of the plaza. Two being Northeast and Northwest. If the pattern is continued then there might be two Southeast and Southwest, but that would make eleven bombs, not ten. No harm in checking it out.

Cale ran along the rooftops of buildings before finally arriving at the plaza.

It's 7:20 so we have an hour and forty minutes left.

They traveled from place to place, eventually deactivating six placed bombs.

"So where are the ones on civilians?" Cale asked, sitting at the tea shop the South bomb was placed at.

"Um, the closest is a few blocks away to the left" the dragon answered.

"Okay" Cale stood up and turned to the two kids. "Stay here. I'll be back in a little bit"

The two kids nodded and continued to eat their cake.

He glanced at the dragon, signalling with his head to follow him.

They walked for a bit when a voice echoed in his head.

-It's the bag that the woman with green clothes is holding.

Cale nodded as he slowly approached the woman. Just when he was a couple metres away, he suddenly bolted towards the woman. He reached out and swiftly snatched the bag before running away.
