Dharani's house is decorated with serial lights and bulbs. The main door is decorated with flowers and mango leaves. Everyone is busy with their own work.
Dharani reached her home a week before. She got herself busy with the shopping and stitching work. Whenever she was free, she would call Agastya and speak to him.
One thing which started bothering Dharani is , Agastya was not himself now. She could see a change in his behavior. Earlier he was the one who tried to initiate the conversation and stay close to her but now, she was the one who always took the initiative.
He was hardly speaking to her. He said that he was busy and would call her later. Dharani believed him. He was always well behaved and took good care of her when she was hospitalized after the floods. She shook all the negative thoughts from her mind and prayed to God to bless her to lead a happy life with Agastya.
On the day of the marriage.
Dharani was woken up early in the morning by her Grandmother. She was made to wear a yellow saree. Oil and Turmeric powder was applied to her face and hair. Married women blessed her with the sacred rice and was taken to the bath. After the bath, Dharani was dressed in Red and green pattu saree. Mehndi was applied to her hands a day before.
She looked stunning in that bridal look and people could not stop themselves praising her.

Seeing her all grown up and now standing like a bride in front of him, Vikram had happy tears in his eyes. Kasturi gave him the ashinthalu and they blessed her. Kasturi gave her the jewelry and asked the makeup artist to hurry up. That jewelry belongs to Lalitha, her mother. She felt very happy when Dharani wore them. For a second, Kasturi imagined Lalitha in Dharani. She kissed her forehead and hugged her.

Dharani also got emotional. She would miss her grandparents who took care of her for a long time. She knew that if she gets married to Agastya, she should bury her love for Prithvi in her heart forever. That is really difficult for her. But seeing her grandparents who look so happy for this occasion,she made up her mind that she would not let them face any kind of embarrassment or insult. She made her way towards her pedda thattha and took his blessings. He blessed her and gave her a gold chain. She made her way towards Prithvi.
