Things started to cool down at Maya ‘s end. Her friends who distanced themselves started getting close to her. Her fellow classmates also started to make friends with her when they were taken to the excursion. That trip brought the students together, earning more friends for Maya.

It's been a month, Dharani and Agastya started dating.  Dharani and Meena moved to the penthouse as suggested by Agastya. Like he said, the owners are a helpful couple. They even provide them with their  meals. The elderly lady prepared their breakfast and dinner. Though Dharani hesitated initially, later she couldn't oppose their kind gesture. Agastya and Dharani got to know each other. They went to movies, weekend trips and temples but they were never alone. Dharani always drew her boundaries whenever she was with Agastya. She didn't give him any chance to get close to her. She maintained a friendly relation with him but not more than that. Agastya waited patiently to accept  him as her man.
During their outings and trips, Meena is the one who accompanied Dharani. She got close to Agastya as well. She liked his friendly and malleable nature.

One  day , Dharani was so  focused on preparing the coding and learning more concepts in python, when Agastya suggested an outing nearby..she wanted to turn  him down but she  realized that she needs a break from the hectic  work. So when Agastya asked her  to go outside and have some fun, she said yes.

They didn't go far. They went hiking in a national forest, 45 minutes from the city, and returned that night. They came back by bus . Dharani  slept on the way back, head bobbing to the bumps in the road. Suddenly, she heard some complaints by Meena.

Meena:
"This traffic is murder!Should we get out and walk? We're close to  our area.,"

It was bumper-to-bumper traffic. Try as they might, the line of cars stretched as far as the eye could see and Agastya also got out of the bus to check the chaos.
Dharani, who was  getting bus sick, so she agreed to Meena’s suggestion right away. They told the driver, and he kindly opened the doors for them and let them out. They started walking down the sidewalk.

They talked as they walked.

Meena:
"I'm glad we ditched the bus. Those cars aren't moving at all. There must be an accident,"

Agastya looked ahead and then behind them and said

Agastya:
"I suppose so. Look at that—they must be lined up outside the city. The traffic in the City wasn't usually this bad”.

They continued walking for a few more minutes. Then they heard sirens screaming. The police and emergency vehicles showed up on the scene. People had become impatient because of the traffic jam. Hearing the sirens, they fell silent. Since the emergency vehicles had come, they realized that someone must have been hurt or something serious had happened.

Dharani  was soon able to see what was going on. There was a car accident. One car had plowed into another, caving in its back end. A military vehicle was also there. That section of the road had been cordoned off. A crowd gathered, as well as the usual Ambulance and police. There were three emergency vehicles. The police and the firemen were all actively working. A few of them were out with signs and flashlights, trying to redirect traffic and keep it flowing.

Right then, another car pulled up. A woman got out of the BMW and walked over to a man who was lying in the street and drenched in blood.

Unknown woman:
"How did this happen? Why is he dead? Who did this? And you! You are soldiers. You save people. How could you let this happen?"

she yelled like a crazy person, obviously distraught.People attempted to calm her down, but to no avail.

Dharani and Prithvi were doomed to meet at random.Like right now.
