Chapter 12 Tigger named me the Sexy Beast!

Dan groaned. "Sergeant Whiskers if Paul irritates you too much you have every right to shoot him somewhere non-lethal. He will recover." He knew having Paul come along was a bad idea.

Whiskers blinked and then grinned. "I get off in an hour and if you are still here I will meet you at the bar." He was a pretty good looking man. "Now I might shoot him to slow him down a bit..." She winked at Dan when she said that.

Dan sighed. "Bring him back tomorrow in one piece and no getting pregnant. We simply don't know how our DNA will mix with yours till Nang and Oreo as well as Jas are further along." Paul was looking extremely pleased with that idea. Whiskers was a fascinating black and white looking cat. Her hair was actually both colors and patches on her skin showed where the spots would be in her cat form. She was in very good shape as well.

Paul gave her a wide grin. "If it helps Tigger named me The Sexy Beast and drew a picture of me." He leaned over and lightly bopped Tigger on the shoulder. "I am having him work up a frame for it and can't wait to see it."

She gave him an impressed look. "Tigger did and just randomly presented it to me." It wasn't on the level of the picture he had done for Dan but it was some of the best work he had seen for a very long time.

"In that case I am even more pleased to meet you. Anytime Tigger gives out a picture it is considered to be an honor. Back on the home world he was considered one of the top artists and a great loss when he chose to come with his mate." She walked over to Paul and gave him a hug and pulled him down for a brief kiss. "See you in an hour and I am not fertile right now."

Dan rolled his eyes as they walked out of the gateway and wandered over to the lounge and settled down at a couple of the tables. They got some attention since most of the wolves had never been up there and pretty quickly a small impromptu party started. Several of the males on board even showed up and Suzy was a hit with them. Their mates were there as well but the women were focusing on the males. As long as nobody complained he wasn't going to say anything.

It wasn't too much longer before the captain showed up with Steve and she had a slight grin on her face. "So this is where my crew has gone. I might have to frown at a few of those later but it is nice to see some fun in this place." She stalked over to where Dan was seated. "Nang why did you have to choose him? All he does is cause trouble for me." There was amusement in her voice.

Nang grinned at her. "I like my big ol' wolf. He is going to be a good warmer in the winter when it is cold. Besides if it hadn't been for him I wouldn't have found my other mates." She gave Tigger and Oreo a loving look. "Besides you have to admit the food at his place rocks."

Mina shook her head and flopped down on her mate's lap and relaxed in his arms. "So you had fun in town today? What all did you do?" She was keeping close tabs on all of her people when they went out in public.

Tigger almost bounced in his seat. "I have all kinds of new art supplies and can actually create on a real surface. I can't wait to get back and start sorting through all my new things." He was glowing with happiness.

Mina gave him a big smile. "Good for you Tigger and I can't wait to see some of your new works. I expect you to let me know when you next unveil something and might have you do a commission for me." When he had opted to come with she had been tickled pink with the honor.

Dan thought of something. "Oh, with your permission Paul would like to visit with Whiskers for a while this evening. Also my pack doctor examined Tigger and would like to get permission to examine the other males and maybe a few females. He sensed something wrong but couldn't define what it was." That got the attention of a number of people. "Being what he is, like me, he has extra abilities that deal directly with healing and identifying medical conditions. He does it with his mind sort of the way you do it with the scanners."
