Chapter 18 - Die wattpad die!!!

Mari brings food to the ship

During the night, Dan rose to use the bathroom and once done he silently walked into the living area. The pistol was still there and he quickly checked it and swapped clips so it had the correct one. He jacked in a new round before taking the old clip and round to tuck into his bags. Once done Dan walked back to the bed and curled up around Oreo. She was curled around Tigger and Nang was on the other side of Tigger. For the moment, Oreo needed his attention since she had been badly distraught about what had been said and done on the bridge. It was something he really wanted to have a discussion with the damn Mistresses about. Nobody upset his mates and got away with it. Eventually he went back to sleep.

The next morning, they were awoken as the door to Nang's rooms opened. Dan looked through the entrance to the bedroom and relaxed when he saw Mari, "What are you doing here?" He quietly waved her over and urged her down next to the rest of them, *Mari pay attention to Tigger and Oreo today. Yesterday was very distressing for them and they need the attention. I won't discuss it though if they chose to it is their choice. Comfort them.* He moved away from the bed and headed towards the shower. For the moment, he needed a few minutes alone.

Mari settled down on the bed and listened to what Dan was saying, *I was called up by Mina and she said you and your mates probably needed some attention. I will take care of your mates and comfort them as needed. Go take your shower Dan.* She moved closer to Oreo and Tigger. They had changed positions at some point though Mari didn't realize it and now Oreo was being held by Nang and Tigger was on the other side of his primary mate. She curled up against Tigger's back and relaxed with the contact.

Eventually Dan came out of the shower as Nang walked in and he gave her a hug and kiss. He held her for a short time since he needed the contact but let her go since so he could go and see how his other mates were doing, *Love you Nang and let us pray to our deities that we don't have to prove what was said.* He walked out and pulled on some comfortable clothing. Today he didn't give a damn what anyone thought. Dan was going to wear shorts, a loose and old t-shirt and some ratty shoes. If anyone called him on it he would snarl at them. One thing he made sure of was the dog collar and his Alpha necklace were showing.

Mari was in the kitchenette and she was working on some food which she had brought with. Knowing what the three of them liked she had ensured she had brought the best. As she was working Oreo came over and wrapped her arms around her and Mari had to smile even though she kept working.

"Thank you Mari, it's smelling good. We need some good food this morning." She gave Mari a kiss on the side of her neck before going and starting to pull out dishes for the food. Whatever else could be said, Mari was as much a part of the family as anyone else. She had given them so much affection and attention.

Tigger finally came out of the bathroom and quietly walked over to Mari and gave her a good hug. He relaxed against her back as he inhaled her scent. After a few moments, he moved to the dispenser and had a mug of Kava made. Once he had his drink he settled down at the table and looked down at the table top. He was trying to come to terms with what the Mistresses had demanded and what Dan had asked. It wasn't something he had ever contemplated before meeting Dan. The changes Dan had caused were so vast Tigger was still trying to deal with them.

When he met Dan, he had been so scared of the man. He was large, powerful, and potent. He was fertile and could make babies. It was something Tigger had always wished, to be able to make Oreo pregnant. Then there had been the memories Dan had shown him and that had been so horribly upsetting. He had also felt the loss of Dan's former mates and the empty parts of his soul due to that. Even with their having mated those damaged spots were there. Having reacted to what Mari had to say and then what the rogue showed he wasn't as much a pacifist as he thought. The training he was going through had started honing the aggressive part of him.
