Chapter 27 - We are going to have a party!

Party and new mates

When Paul and Diamond walked in the party had started. It still had sad overtones but it was obvious most everyone was trying their best. There was some of the crew there as well. Even if it hadn't been intended a number of other neko's had started to form relationships. Most were with the normal humans but there were one or two more with one of the Were's in the pens. Paul stopped at the entrance to the room and looked at the party, "We need this. Even if something happens to Dan we have to be able to celebrate and move forward. Packs have lost Alpha's before and we still have a damn good one."

He finally moved forward and led Diamond over to Nang and Oreo. He glanced around but didn't see Tigger so he spoke to them, "Luna's I would like to introduce my mate Diamond. We are new mates and when we next have a moon night I will introduce her. I would like to tell our Alpha as well, where may I find him?" He really wanted to tell Tigger as well.

Oreo and Nang looked up at him before looking at Diamond. When Paul carefully pulled the neckline of her shirt away they saw the bite marks, Oreo moved forward and gave Diamond a good hug before giving Paul one, "We are so pleased to hear about a new mating. That is an excellent name you helped your mate chose. Now you will have to see about getting her a Diamond. When we get back to earth talk to the pack jeweler."

Oreo stepped forward and gave them a hug as well, "Tigger is with Dan and Mari right now. He is giving both of them support. I don't know if he is going to make it to the party. If not tell him tomorrow. For now, we will let the pack know. Remain here." She glanced at Nang and they yowled for attention.

Both Nang and Oreo looked very pleased as they yowled. The pack was growing and being fruitful. They would keep going. Once they had everyone's attention Nang stepped forward. Nang was more used to commanding than Oreo since it was her job. Oreo took care of the crew. Nang ran her department even now, "Thank you for your attention, I wish to let you know Paul has come and introduced his new mate to us. He has mated with Diamond and it is official. Please congratulate them. Mind you if any are stupid enough to end up in a fight... I will let George deal with you." There were traces of laughter even as he stood and flexed.

All the Were's and a number of the soldiers hooted, howled, yelled, and hollered. Paul couldn't help but grin even though he was blushing much as Diamond was. She leaned back against him and enjoyed the feel of his arms around her. As she had expected he had blown her socks off earlier. He had been slow and taken his time to please her before he took care of his needs. When they were done, all they could do was lay there and recover. That and a shower to get clean.

Now the party had something to really celebrate and all the new couples were feasted and feted. The food was good, the drinks better, and once the pups of all ages were in bed the party became even better. Due to the single Were-bear with the others no fights happened. If one started she would stomp over and stare at them. It was enough to encourage them to consider having a fight later. Even better several more mates were found and resolved.

Much to the amusement of one group of soldiers CPO Jager of the assigned Seal unit was scooped up by a rather large woman and held close, "I thought so, my mate and I'm going to cuddle you until dawn's first light." Considering they were in space that was saying something.

He glared at her and then frowned, "Don't you dare cuddle until Dawn's first light. I will not be pleased with you and ask my sister's mate to have a discussion with you. If I'm going to be yours, you had better make me yours now or I will find a tight crawlspace to sleep in. One you can't fit in." He had noticed her since she was so striking. She was tall for a woman though she was shorter than he was by a small amount. She was well built and had golden eyes which drew him and platinum blond hair. Frankly the first time he had seen her he had almost walked over and offered to spend the rest of his life with her.
