Chapter 25 - WTF Paul!

Dealing with the treason

Nang and Oreo moved forward and Oreo spoke, "First Mistress before I say anything more, I have to introduce you to the pack. When I say pack, it is a special family unit due to who they are. Sampson is the healer for the pack and he has abilities we don't." She didn't bother looking over her shoulder before she spoke again, "Sampson will you please check the First Mistress and verify her wounds are not life threatening?" *Heal them as you can and call on our powers as leaders of the pack.*

Sampson moved forward and walked around the table. When one of the Mistresses went to block his movements he so very casually picked her up and tossed her across the room. It was a good forty feet before she hit the wall. He didn't slow until he approached the woman, "Ma'am I simply need to hold your hands. There isn't anything invasive beyond that. Will you allow me to hold your hands?" His eyes showed his concern for her as he held his large hands out.

She watched as he tossed the other Mistress across the room and was shocked. It wasn't something any of them could do and he hadn't even strained to do it. When he approached her, she looked at his eyes and they showed he meant what he was saying. Before she realized it, she held her hands out and let him take them.

Sampson took her hands and kept her eyes looking at his as he did his job. As he pressed his powers against her he was very careful with them to keep from overwhelming her. It helped that her wounds were still showing. When they started to knit back together it showed on the video feeds. When he was done he let her hands go, "Ma'am you will be fine and your wounds are mostly healed."

She had felt a warmth flow from his hands and she had been forced to close her eyes. What she was feeling she couldn't really describe other than something was impacting on her. When she suddenly woke she realized the wounds on her chest didn't hurt much anymore. She looked down and gasped since they were now simply the raw red of a recently healed wound, "What? How? By the Goddess and God what happened?"

Sampson gave her a tight smile, "I healed your wounds. My Luna asked this of me so I did it. You will be fine and other than some slight scars you will heal well." He moved back to the pack while ignoring the medical staff checking on the woman he had tossed. Sampson knew she was dead since when she had impacted on the wall the back of her skull had shattered and fractured her spine. It didn't bother him since he had been doing what one of his Luna's had asked of him.

The First Mistress looked at the three, "That was something I can't explain, what was your point?" She was still trying to catch her breath from what had happened.

Oreo spoke this time, "First Mistress, Sampson brought this to our attention and I needed to prove his abilities to you." She called up some of the initial exam's Sampson had done, "What I'm showing you is Sampson checking on our males. My scans show the males are infertile using the main scanners. Using a remote scanner, it showed they had been surgically altered." She let some of the exams by Sampson play on the screens. As of now none of them had a report of the broadcasts being blocked.

After several of the exams by Sampson were done she changed the view, *Sorry Mari but they have to see this. It will help my race and our mates. We do love you and will protect you but it has to be done.* "This is a scan from one of the human's. She was infected by a disease from someone who knew her. What happened to her reproductive system is similar to what has been done to our males. Sampson discovered this. He examined all the males aboard the ship. They have had something similar happen to them. In their case it looks like it was done deliberately. I did scans using a remote scanner designed for field use. They were never programmed with the male DNA for those aboard the ship. They detected the following..." She detailed a good eight males as she was talking, "If you notice the scans between the human female and our male cat's they are so close as to be statistically impossible. It looks like something is happening in the 'male health section' after they were born. Their DNA appears to have been marked to not show that a surgical procedure was done when they were born. I had the techs aboard ship look into this and it was the best they could come up with."
