Leonardo
I sat with a glare as I listened to the man talk on and on. He talked about disrespect and how things aren't how they used to be. He just wants to flaunt around power for all to see and since I'm the new head I won't let him. We have a company to run, we can't go killing people for no reason.
"Anything else." I interrupted him sitting back.
"I was at-" he gave me angry look.
"I asked if it was anything else." I glared. "Do not waste my time with stupid discussions. I am busy and if you're not then you should find something to do. Also I want the girls taken care of. If I have to visit everyday I will and if it's not what I want I'll fire whoever's in charge." I stood up.
"Leonardo wait." Somebody called. I turned to them with an icy glare. "I-I just wanted to know what to do about the money." He mumbled.
"I'm handling it." I turned away from them. I hate this entire group and I want to dismantle it at this point. They are the most insufferable group of old men and stuck up sons. This group is old and has come from a long line of men who think the world owes them something. I was the same way but after marrying my wife I changed. She showed me something different something they don't have. That's why I've expanded out and work with other people because working with them would leave me nowhere but dead or broke.
I walked back into my office and locked the door. My assistant knows if my door is locked that I don't want to be interrupted.
"You locked the door for me?" Samantha smirked as soon as I turned around. She was sitting behind my desk with a black dress on. I never question her when she turns up places because honestly she was trained to do that. I just hate her popping up everywhere without warning.
"Oh fucking fuck." I groaned. "I just want one hour alone."
"Interesting you want to be alone so bad when you fuck anything that comes your way." She stood up. "We are going to dinner tonight to talk. If you don't come I'll track you down at whoever house you're at pull your dick from whoever you're fucking and drag you to dinner."
"I have a meeting tonight." I glared.
"With the sexy money launder." She nodded.
"He's not-"
"Leonardo." She tilted her head. "It's not gay to know a man's hot."
"I can admit he's handsome." I nodded. Ronald is a very handsome man and is also very confident. I've taken notice of his flirting and while I don't appreciate it, he's valuable so I won't do anything rash about it. He's also really good at cooking. The burgers he made were excellent. I don't eat homemade food often so I appreciate the good taste and hearty meal.
"I'll come with you." She smiled. I went to speak but she interrupted me. "No back talk. I'm coming with you."
"How did you know he was handsome?" I asked. I came and sat down behind my desk facing her.
"Come on Leo, since I've been back I've already vetted every person in your life." She shook her head. "I have to make sure you're safe." She stood up and kissed my cheek before leaving.
I'm happy to have her back. Samantha is one of the only people I've shown my vulnerable side to. We've been best friends since childhood. Her mother was my fathers ex who died and my mother being the wonderful human she is, took Samantha in. Sam's mom was known for being amazing with a knife and Sam took after her. We grew up together even when Sam was training to be a mercenary. Mary was her best friend from college and she introduced us and then our duo became a trio.
