"Oh thank you baby." I smiled grabbing the plate Leo brought me. "It's um," I paused squinting.
"Eggs and bacon." He finished. It looked liked eggs and bacon but the bacon was a little dark and the eggs were almost white.
"Yep it sure is." I looked up at him. He was shirtless with only sweatpants on and no underwear. Just how I likes it.
"Oh shit this ain't half bad." I nodded eating the eggs.
"I added milk like you said and Mary taught me to add parsley."
"Thank you Mary." I smiled. He laughed softly and sat down at my feet.
"What if I never stop loving her?" He asked.
"I never said I want you to. I want you to love me at some point but I expected she'll always be in your heart." I shrugged. He looked at me with watery eyes. "What, what I say?"
"You're just the best thing I've ever been around." He smiled.
"Thank you, thank you." I cheesed. "Now I have officially gotten rid of the killers the only person left is Titan."
"That's going to be hard." Leo sighed. He laid back on the bed and looked at the ceiling. "He's a police informant. That's why he's never in trouble for the things he does."
"Rat." I spat. "We have to come up with a airtight plan to kill him." He nodded along.
"How did you kill the men from last night?" He turned his head to me. My body went still as I recounted my actions from last night. The only reason I'm not breaking down is because I had to kill them for my mom. I hate taking lives but it's the way the world works.
"Ah well, me and Chris used to sell so we know where they hang out. I employed some dope boys at the burger place and without question they helped. Me and Chris waited until they had a party and snuck in with help of the employee before everybody came. Each nigga ended up alone at some point in the night. First nigga who sat in the back got caught fucking some ugly bitch and I popped him. I had to fight his freaky dick ass though. Chris caught a nigga peeing and killed him and the last nigga was shot in the middle of the room with everyone watching. He was the one who shot my mom. Other niggas started shooting like crazy but me and Chris easily slipped out. We hid until the clean up crew came."
"They're new actually. Did they do good?" He asked.
"Yeah. The nigga was a little off his shit but they cleaned up well. Do he do your security too?"
"Yes. He used to serve but was discharged and started a very well known security company. He just started cleaning for me though." He went silent for a while. "How do you feel about it all?"
"I did feel bad. I just took people lives. They had kids and girlfriends and people who care about them. But then I got to thinking, my mom had a kid, she had a boyfriend, she had people who cared about her. She had someone who'd kill for her." I whispered. "My world ended when she died. I know the hit was for me or at least because of me. I'll never forgive myself for that."
"I'm happy you're alive." He whispered. "I don't know what I would've did without you."
"Leo I told you I'd be fine right?" I asked.
"Yes."
"And what am I?"
"Fine." He sighed. He stood up and grabbed my plate, placing it on the dresser before hovering over me. "It seems we always see each other in difficult positions. I haven't been this vulnerable in a long time."
