It was later that day, and I was sitting at a restaurant with Neveah, and we'd been chatting for hours.
It wasn't the Thai place Sebastian worked at; it was a chai place inside the mall; when I realized what Sebastian was.
I was exhausted, honestly; all these emotions tangling me in a web of fear and... denial.
Although I wasn't as in denial as I was supposed to be, I would think. So... I guess I was fine.
"You and Sebastian still in a tid-bit?" Neveah asked me.
I glanced up and shook my head, loving how the warmth of the chai deepened into my skin. "No, in fact he dragged me out of the room and kissed me, and then he pulled back and said 'to be continued.'"
Neveah choked on her drink, and I gazed up nervously.
"You don't think he was insinuating... sex, right?" I asked her.
She continued coughing, clearly trying to get the chai out of her system.
"Yes," she said then, voice raspy as she calmed her breathing, "yes, he was insinuating that."
"But I barely know him!" I argued, feeling my cheeks burn.
"But you find him hot," Neveah said, smiling slyly, "admit it."
"Well, yeah..." I whispered, looking down, "he is... hot."
"Having fun?" a voice said next to us.
Both Neveah and I screamed, looking up.
Of course, it was Sebastian.
He was leaning against the booth next to me, lips curled into that stupid devil-smile as he eyed me curiously.
"What?" Neveah said, brows arched. "Are you the waiter here, too?"
He glanced over at her, smirking. "Maybe."
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "I live with you. You can stop following me everywhere like a creep."
He laughed. "What's the fun in that?"
I just rolled my eyes, giving him a look seconds later. "You know what?" I stood. "I have some business to do in the bathroom, be back in ten minutes."
"Ten?" Neveah said, blinking. "What are you doing in there? Craping the Eiffel Tower?"
"Nah," Sebastian said, smirking at me, "I think it's less innocent."
Neveah glanced at me' brows arched.
I glared, feeling my face heat. "I hate you both."
And I stormed off to the bathroom, slamming the door open and walked over to the stall, doing my business before I walked out.
