Weeks had passed, almost months, and Doctor Jen came back a month later, I found out the hard way why I wasn't healing fast enough.

My ankle was broken.

Ugh.

But—luckily—she was all stocked up on her medications that healed me instantly, and after she gave them to me, I passed out.

I woke up in my bed a day later, and Sebastian was next to me, on his phone. He explained to me that I passed out because of how fast I was healing; my body needed rest.

After I healed up, we trained more; he taught me amazing moves on jumping off high things, landing correctly, and dodging attacks and moves.

He'd been training me for over three months—every day.

Eventually... he finally gave me it...

The angelic dagger.

I was so excited, and he trained me how to fight with the dagger; I was amazing at holding it, it was like I was born to use it.

I kind of was; I was half-archangel.

But I wasn't focused on that right now.

Right now? I was playing air-hockey with Neveah again, and this time, I was kicking her ass.

The second the puck slid into her side, she groaned in annoyance, dropping her head back.

"Yes!" I yelled, raising my hands in victory. "That's what you get boyyyyyyyy!"

"I'm a girl," she replied in amusement, "sexist."

"I'm not sexist," I replied, smirking. "You're just a sore loser."

"Says the girl who lost once today and threw the puck at me," she told me then, shaking her head. "So violent."

"You're just a sore loser," I replied, sticking my tongue out at her.

She only rolled her eyes. "Whatever, I'm done playing, anyway." But she turned back around. "Hey, Skye... your boyfriend has an arcade in his house; why do we always come here?"

I shrugged. "I just like getting out of that mansion. Also this place is nostalgic to me, too."

She smiled slightly then. "You didn't tell Sebastian you were coming here, did you?"

I sputtered my lips, waving away her question. "He doesn't need to know every place I go. I can protect myself now, thank you."

She arched a brow. "Someone is a little too confident. May I remind you that a psychopath is chasing us?"

"Eh," I said, waving away her question again, "I can just watch him explode with my weapon." I smiled darkly. "It's exciting."

She shook her head in defeat. "You make me sad."
