"So what's the new signing like?" Jude asks as we go over to a table and I set my cup down, leaning against it.

"I haven't really talked to him much, we followed each other but that's as far as anything has gone." I shrug as he nods slightly, playing with his fingers as he's looking around at people, "what's wrong?"

"Nothing." He says as he nods at someone, "I'll be back in a minute." He adds as he walks away and I scoff as I turn around, watching him go over to a group.

"Asshole." I mumble as someone is passing the table and they scoff as I laugh awkwardly, "not you!" I call out as I turn back around, grabbing my drink as Ferran starts laughing.

"You have a way with words Mae." He jokes as I frown, taking a sip as I shake my head.

"He comes to Barcelona yet he's not even talking to me." I say as Ferran is looking in Jude's direction.

"You've seen him more recently than anybody else, maybe he's just catching up with everyone." He suggests as he begins motioning someone over and I turn my head, seeing Pedri making his way over.

"No." I say immediately and he shushes me.

"He's nice." He mumbles as I sigh.

"I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone new tonight, I'm annoyed." I whisper as he shrugs.

"Just drink then, I'll bring you home later." He offers as I quickly finish my drink, turning around as Pedri's eyes are already on me, "do you remember Maeve?" He immediately asks.

"I faintly recall her." Pedri responds as I scoff.

"I'll go get you another drink Mae." Ferran says as he pats my shoulder and I quickly shake my head as he nudges his head.

"Do you have some kind of issue with me?" I question as he furrows his eyebrows.

"What?" He asks as I sigh.

"You got signed and have been hanging out with my friend group basically nonstop since you've gotten here, yet you haven't even tried to talk to me." I say as the corner of his mouth raises slightly.

"So.." he trails off as he steps closer to me, "you're mad because I haven't talked to you?"

"I'm not mad." I counter as he nods slightly.

"You think I have an issue with you because I haven't talked to you?" He asks as I nod slightly.

"When it's put that way, I guess."

"I'm just not interested, no offense." He says as I knit my eyebrows together.

"Excuse me?" I ask as he scoffs.

"I get how you are, I can see it, so I'm just not interested in that kind of thing. I'm sure you're great though." He says as I shake my head.

"Wait what?" I question.

"I'll see you around, since I'm with your group all the time." He remarks as he begins walking away and I stay at the table, thinking about what any of that just meant.

"You scared him off already?" Ferran jokes as he comes back over, handing me my cup.

"I'm actually so confused right now." I mumble as I bite on the end of the straw as Ferran watches me.
