Pedri pov (😳😳)

I knock on the front door as I take a step back and I wait a few seconds before the door swings open, Nico standing there, "thank god you're here." He mumbles as he opens it fully and I furrow my eyebrows.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I question as I go inside.

"It's been almost an hour since you were supposed to come over, she invited you over for a reason." He says as he nudges his head down the hallway, "good luck." He adds as I begin slowly going down the hallway towards Maeve's room.

"Is she okay?" I ask as I stop as I look in the kitchen as Daria looks up from her phone.

"She's been better." She shrugs as I take a deep breath.

That's definitely not scary.

And who knows what even happened.

I finish going down the hallway and I knock on the door before opening it up a crack, "solis?" I question as I poke my head in the room.

"You were supposed to leave like an hour ago, you don't live that far away." She says as she walks out of her bathroom, drying her hair with a towel.

I furrow my eyebrows as I shut the door behind me, "were you crying?" I ask as she shrugs, going back into her bathroom, "what's wrong?"

I follow behind her into the bathroom and once I'm in there she's already sitting on the counter so I go over to her, "I got in an argument with my dad and then with Jude." She says as I move so I'm standing between her legs and she immediately shakes her head.

"What happened?" I question.

"He was right about it, I'm attention seeking subconsciously I think." She says as she puts her hands on my shoulders and I immediately shake my head.

"Who said that? Your dad or Jude?" I ask as she sighs.

"Jude." She whispers as she brings her hands down my arms, "it's fine though, it's all I talk about and he's right, the guys are annoyed with it."

"No one's annoyed Maeve, you have feelings and they're valid." I counter as she draws her lips together.

She stares at me for a second before she furrows her eyebrows, "why did you come here?" She asks quietly.

"Because you asked me to." I respond simply as she nods slowly, "what?"

"We can't date, you know that right?" She questions as she puts her hand on my chest, pushing me back.

"I'm not over here proposing to you, why would you say that?" I question as I step closer to her again, resting my hand against her leg as she plays with my bracelet.

"Because I need you to know it, so we can't kiss again or anything. It was a mistake and I warned you about it." She whispers as I tense my jaw.

It feels like a punch to the gut.

I really thought she was starting to like me.

I nod slightly as I click my tongue, "that's fine," I lie as she nods slightly, "you feel how you feel and that's okay."

"Thank you." She says quietly as she runs her hands up my back as she presses her lips together, "does Ferran or Gavi know about the kiss?"

"They haven't said anything about it to me yet." I say as she looks at my lips quick, "you can't kiss me, you know that, right?"

"I want to but I won't. It'd mess things up, but you're just so close to me right now that I feel like I need to." She says as she takes a deep breath.

"If you wanted to you could." I whisper as she shakes her head.

"That'd be bad." She whispers as I shake my head, moving one of my hands up the outside of her leg as she takes a deep breath, "really bad." She adds as she cups my face before kissing me.

I immediately smile into the kiss as she slides forward, wrapping her legs around my waist, "really bad." I repeat back to her as she nods.

"Very." She mumbles against my lips as she immediately pulls away, pushing me back, "what am i doing right now, you need to leave." She says as she wipes her lips before pointing at the door.

"Mae." I say as she shakes her head, getting off the counter as she goes past me, back into her room, "Mae what's wrong? What happened?"

She sits on the edge of the bed as she puts her head in her hands, "I don't fucking know what's happening anymore, I'm scared I'm not doing enough for everyone else or something and all of them will be annoyed with me. Like everytime I bail or refuse to go out is just me being a bad person I think." She rambles as I stand in front of her.

"You're not a bad person. You're definitely not like sunshine but that doesn't make you a bad person, okay?" I question as I put my hand underneath her chin as I tilt it up and she gives me a look.

"I still think you should go, I can't trust myself around you right now." She says quietly as I smile.

"I'm not going anywhere." I say as I rub my thumb across her cheek as she nods slightly.

"Pedri." She whispers as I shake my head.

"You should sleep." I say as I move so I'm against the headboard, "and I'll just stay here." I add as she smiles softly before she wraps her arms around my torso, laying down fully against me as I move the blanket so it's covering her.

After a few minutes she's asleep and I take my phone out, texting Ferran with one hand as my other hand rubs her back.

Have you all been annoyed with Maeve
Like with everything happening with her
dad and what not?

Ferran
Of course not
We don't get mad at her for that

Why?

Pedri
I guess Jude said you all are annoyed
with her talking about it

Ferran
I'll talk to him about it
None of us are annoyed

Why would he even say you guys are
She's been so worried about it

Ferran
I'm not sure but I'll get it figured out

Are you two dating?

No we're not
She keeps saying we can't

I really thought you were

Yeah well she makes me know we can't

Probably because she's still closed off
I don't know maybe she'll come around

There's no way she doesn't like you

I'm not sure
Maybe I was reading into it
and she doesn't actually care

She's not heartless
She just has a bad reputation with it

Yeah I know

Ferran
She's like my sister, she'll come around
I know her

Pedri
