I stand outside Jude's apartment door and I take a deep breath as I put the key in, opening the door as I walk in. I've been here more times than I could count, but something about it feels off this time.
Maybe the fact he doesn't know I'm coming has to do with it, or just the fact we're not in a good place right now. We haven't been in a good spot for over 2 months, and that says enough about the situation.
I shut the door behind me and feel my phone buzz as I go onto instagram.
