Pedri
I'm here

Maeve
Where

Pedri
The airport?

Maeve
Oh yeah

Pedri
Are you not there?

Maeve
No I am

Pedri
Are you going to come out
Orrrr

Maeve
Yes!
I'll be out in a moment

Pedri
Okay great!!

Maeve
See you soon González

Pedri
Why

Maeve
I don't know I was trying to get behind
the whole last name thing, it didn't sound
as good as I thought it would

Pedri
You gave it a shot
That's what matters

Maeve
I'll leave it to you

Pedri
Yes I'd advise that

Maeve
I'm walking out
Now
I see you
You're getting out
You opened the door
How chivalrous

Pedri
Put your phone down

Maeve
I just saw you typing
That's funny
Now you're ignoring me
I'll turn around
I swear I will

I look up from my phone and he quickly reads the texts before he smiles as he looks back at me again, "hey stranger." I say as I go over to him, wrapping my arms around him in a hug as he kisses the side of my head.

"Did you go to sleep early last night?" He asks as I pull away from the hug, nodding slightly as he gives me a look, "did you actually sleep?" He questions as his thumb brushes over my cheek and I take a step back.

"Yep." I say as he moves so he's standing in front of the door, "fine, no." I admit as he steps aside and I get in.

Who knew being honest helped you get what you want.

"Watch your legs." He says quietly before he shuts the door and I buckle as I look out the window, "what's on your mind?"

"Did Daria or Nico tell you anything?" I ask as I'm still looking out the window as he begins the drive to my house.

"No, I didn't ask for information because it means nothing coming from them, I want to hear it coming from you." He says as he reaches over, placing his hand on my thigh as I put my hand on top of his.

"Yeah?" I question as I look at him as he's stopped at a light.

"Yes, Solis." He says as I squeeze his hand.

"Say it again." I say.

"Yes, Solis." He repeats as I give him a look.

"Again."

"Yes, Solis." He says again.

"Just the second part." I say as he laughs, taking his hand back.
