"Look who shows up after all." Ferran says as I go out back of his house, all of the guys sitting at the bonfire pit.

"I resisted long enough." I say as I go sit in an open spot between Gavi and Pablo.

"Pedri even beat you here." Ferran says as I look at Pedri who's sitting directly across from me as I tense my jaw slightly.

"How was your date?" I question as the corner of his mouth raises slightly.

"He really likes her." Gavi chimes in as I look at him.

"Is that so?" I ask as I look at Pedri again and he nods slightly. "So a ray of sunshine is your type?"

"Guess so." He says simply as I bite the inside of my cheek.

It feels as awkward as when Pedri didn't like me because he thought I slept around. Every single thing we've figured out about each other has seemed to disappear. It's like it was all for nothing.

And I guess it's my fault in a way because I was basically leading him on, so maybe I do deserve it. "Has anyone heard from Jude?" I ask, quickly changing the topic as Pablo clicks his tongue.

"He's mad right now, but he may come back soon to get everything sorted out." He says as I nod slightly.

"Yeah that'd be good I think." I say as Pedri furrows his eyebrows, "I feel like I should call him or something, I don't like the idea that there's some kind of issue between us."

"Well there is." Ansu says as I shrug.

"I mean it was kind of deserved." I say quietly as Ferran gives me a look.

"Why do you keep doing that?" He asks.

"Doing what?" I question.

"You keep saying stuff about how you deserve something bad, or like being treated poorly." He elaborates as I shake my head slightly.

"I don't know." I whisper as I tap my leg a few times before I clear my throat, "I'll be back, I'm going to get a drink." I add as I stand up.

Pedri pov (😳😳)

"What's been going on with her? Is the Jude situation that bad?" Gavi asks after Maeve finally goes inside.

I know more than everyone else.

"I think the situation with her dad is still bugging her though, and then her and Jude arguing topped it off. Like the last time she was with her dad he kicked her out, there's a lot of shit going on with her that she doesn't really talk about." Ferran says as I nod.

"It's rough." I say simply as all the guys turn to look at me.

"What do you know?" Pablo asks as I click my tongue.

"She got in an argument with her dad right before she got in the one with Jude. So her emotions were already probably high." I shrug as Gavi looks next to him, down at Maeve's phone.

"Let's just check." Gavi suggests as Ferran gives him a look.

"That's probably not the best idea." Alejandro says as Gavi shrugs, quickly typing in her password.

"It's only to see what Jude said, I'm not snooping around her whole phone." Gavi says as I uncomfortably shift in my seat.

I guess I was never told the whole story, so who knows what was actually said.

"Okay fine, read it." Alejandro says as Gavi begins scrolling.

"What's happening with your dad sucks and all but you can't let it affect your mood all the time now, like no offense but it's old." Gavi says as I involuntarily flinch.

"Ouch Jude." Pablo says as Gavi shakes his head as he's staring at her phone.

"The guys all think it too, stop using it 24/7." He says as he quickly pauses, "I'm just saying what they're scared to, it's been all about your dad lately." He continues.

"Does it get worse?" Ferran asks as Gavi's eyes leave her phone quick and he nods briefly.

"You're so obviously in the wrong lately, and then you have the nerve to act like your dad is doing it with no reason, he's just matching you." Gavi says as he winces it seems, "you keep reading." He adds as he passes her phone to Pablo.

"I'm just saying it, otherwise you'd keep playing the victim card and it's old now." Pablo continues as he takes a deep breath, "we all hear your problems 24/7 and it's the same old story of you doing something to get someone to snap and then it's their fault all of a sudden when it's on you."

"What the fuck?" Maeve asks as she's stopped on the steps.

Pablo quickly sets her phone down as he nervously laughs, "oh hey." He says as she shakes her head.

"You went through my phone?" She asks as Pablo and Gavi exchange a look.

"We know you were leaving information out about what happened with Jude, so we just looked." Gavi says as she takes a deep breath.

"That's a bit fucked." She mumbles as she goes back over to her spot, sitting down, "I don't really care though, it's whatever."

"Wait you're not mad?" Ansu asks.

"No it's fine, it at least takes the pressure off me to explain what happened." She says as I furrow my eyebrows.

"How are you just okay with that?" I ask as she gives me a look.

"I just am." She says simply as I shake my head.

Now she'll be cold to me.

Maybe my plan isn't working.
