𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍, she and Glenn sat on the couch with some coffee. Then Devin decided to tell him everything, it was time for her to get it all off her chest, so she started it off with her fight with Kai before she moved to Manhattan, then she told him about how things went down hill and she felt that she had no where to turn and just when she was about to take a shit load of pills, Trevor freaking Calfield stopped her, she told him about the many fights with her mom, including the last one before the accident. She opened up about Woodbury and soon she got to the part about the people in the woods and her arm.

She stared down at the bandage on her arm and sighed. "Only Leo, Kai and Carl know about this, so please don't tell anyone." She quietly said.

Glenn nodded. "I won't." He assured her.

The Philips girl took a shaky breath before slowly taking off the bandage. Glenn watched her, curiously. His eyes then roamed across each letter-carved deep into her pale skin-the gears in his head working fast.

Devin shifted uncomfortably. "Glenn... You okay?" She hesitantly asked.

Glenn scoffed, shaking his head. "I should be asking you that." He ran his hand over his face. "You can't hide this forever." He spoke, eyeing her arm.

She sighed, nodding her head. "I'll show my dad soon." She told him.

The man raised a brow. "Promise?" He asked, not buying a thing she said.

The girl rolled her eyes and nodded. "Yeah, sure... Whatever." She muttered.

Glenn stared at her for a moment before nodding. Suddenly the front door opened and in walked Maggie. When she saw Glenn and Devin, her smile faded. "Everything okay?" She asked worriedly.

Devin quickly covered her arm and nodded. "Just drank to much at Trevor's. Wanted to sober up a bit before heading home." She told the woman, forcing a smile.

Maggie nodded, but it was clear she didn't fully believe her. "Alright." She softly said. "I'll make some sandwiches. We can have then for dinner. Want anything specific on yours, Dev?"

The redhead shook her head. "Anything's fine, Mags. Thank you."

Maggie smiled before heading into the kitchen.

𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, just as the sun was coming up, Devin slipped out of Glenn's house. A huge weight was off her shoulders and she felt better than she did in weeks. "You're up early." Devin looked over and a smile broke out on her face, seeing Kai standing on the front porch of his house.

A soft laugh escaped her throat, one that could make Kai's heart stop. "I could say the same about you." She shot back as she walked up the sidewalk to the front steps.

The blond shrugged. "Judy woke me up." He told her as he scooted over a little so she could stand by him.

She walked closer and stood inches away from him. She looked the most at peace than Kai had seen her in a long time. He couldn't help but admirer how beautiful she looked with the raising sun casting over her freckled face. His heart picked up it's speed and Kai knew that he had to tell her... well, tell her again. Maybe this time nothing would explode.

He cleared his throat and Devin looked over at him. "You remember at the prison? You know before we lost it-"

"I love you, too." Devin softly said, interrupting him. His breath caught in his throat. She nodded, licking her lips. "I love you, Kai. I tried to tell you, back in the boat."

Kai let out a laugh knowing what happened. "But Terminus blew up." He stated and the girl nodded.

"Yeah." She laughed, softly.

The blond sucked in a breath, rocking on his feet nervously. "I really want to kiss you right now." He admitted as his heart raced.

Devin's face went hot. "Jeez, Kai... Are you gonna kiss me or not?" She asked, stepping closer to him.

Kai let our a breathless chuckle before gently cupping Devin's cheeks in his palms. He paused a second before crashing his lips into hers.

"Gross."

The two quickly pulled apart and their eyes darted over to the front door where Rick stood holding Judith with Dane right beside him-the Philips man was wearing his pjs-"dad?" Devin's brows furrowed as she stepped further away from Kai. "What are you doing here?"

Dane shrugged, raising a brow. "Rick and I had a sleepover-" the two teens laughed a little and he shot them both a glare. "Better question is what are you doing here?"

Rick smirked, glancing over at his best friend. "Clearly kissing my son." He teased

The man glared at him. "Clearly your son kissed my daughter first."

Kai and Devin shared a look and the girl huffed, nodding her head. "Okay... Kai and I are going next door." She said, grabbing Kai's hand before pulling him down the stairs and towards her house.
