"𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐄. . . 𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇." Devin admitted after explaining to Kai, Sam, Ellie and Mel what happened with Rick and Pete. "Kinda reminded me of Shane." She scoffed.
"Damn." Sam raised his brows and Devin nodded.
"Yeah, he was a bit psycho for minute."
"More than a bit." Benji chimed in as he, Kate and Leo walked out of the kitchen. "Dude was covered in blood waving a gun around."
Kai sighed, leaning his head back against the couch. "Great. . . that's great. What's gonna happen now?" He asked, looking at Leo and Kate. They two of them were supposed to nw figuring stuff out.
"There's gonna be some sort of trial, they want to banish him or something like that?" Leo explained, what little bit of info he was able to eavesdrop in on.
"What happens to the rest of us if that happens?" Eloise asked with narrowed eyes.
Kate signed and looked at Kai. "If Rick leaves. . . we're a family. This place is nice but as a family we have to stick together."
Benji nodded. "The guys and I talked, if you guys are kicked out, we're with you. One thousand percent. We don't want to lose Dev again. . . or you guys. You're actually pretty cool."
Mel frowned, wrapping her arms around herself. "I can't have Mika back out there. Not after Lizzie."
Sam looked at her. "It doesn't matter if you stay, she won't ever be safe. These people don't get that and we need to stick together."
Devin nodded. "We will." She assured him followed by a sigh. "The others. . . they don't need to know about this conversation."
"They're not gonna like us having these talks behind their backs." Leo pointed out.
Kai shrugged, raising his brows. "They do the same thing. You'd be surprised how many secrets float around our group."
Sam hummed, pointing at the blond. "He's right. So nobody tell Javi."
"Why not?" Benji asked confused.
Devin laughed, shaking his head. "Javi knows everything. He's the nosiest person alive. . . but I don't think we would have to worry about him blabbing. Maybe to Jackass but that's about it."
"Shame. . . shame." All eyes shot towards the doorway and there he was, Javi himself. "A top secret meeting going down in my own house and I wasn't even invited."
"Uh. . . we live here too." Sam reminded, pointing to himself and Devin.
"Unfortunately." Javi muttered and Devin rolled her eyes.
"We love you too, Javi." She smiled sarcastically. "How much did you hear?"
"Me?" The older man gasped. "Nothing at all. See you all tonight." He then dashed up the stairs to his bedroom.
"Never a dull moment in your house, huh, Dev's?" Benji asked, raising his brows.
Devin gave him a tired look and shrugged her shoulders. She definitely would be glad when her dad and Daryl got back. Having the house to herself with Javi and Sam was exhausting. At least when Daryl and Dane was home things were more calm.
