"Ah man, I thought those droids would be more of a challenge," Jay said with a sigh of relief as he collapsed onto the couch.

Kai readily agreed, "Yes, they seemed stronger before." As he made his way over to the TV stand, he confidently grabbed two controllers to play Prime Empire with Jay.

"Last time you faced them alone, that's why you struggled," Nya commented in response to the boys' outburst. It was a habit of hers to always have something to say, as she tended to overthink things. Unfortunately, this often led to her overanalyzing situations.

"Yeah, I suppose," Kai mumbled.

Nya furrowed her eyebrows as she observed the two boys who sat before her. Their eyes were vacant, devoid of any expression or emotion. They looked as if they were sleepwalking, moving their limbs mechanically without any conscious effort. It was quite understandable, given the fact that it was already so late at night. The darkness had engulfed everything, and the only sounds that could be heard were distant footsteps and the occasional hooting of an owl.

"Hey!" Jay yelled angrily as Nya unplugged the TV from the wall.

"Why did you do that?!" Kai demanded in a firm tone.

"Listen up, this is not the time for video games! It's 4 am, and you need to get some rest if you want to be fully prepared for tomorrow's liberation. So shut off those screens and get some sleep now! Nya strictly spoke.

The boys groaned and walked away to their bedrooms. Nya let out a deep sigh, feeling exhausted. At times, it felt like she was running a daycare in the monastery. Dealing with Zane, Cole, and Lloyd was manageable, but the other two were a different story. It was like dealing with squirrels at times.

"Nya just needs a night's rest."

Nadakhan let out a sinister laugh, his eyes gleaming with malice. "After all these years, I am finally free again!" As he looked around, he recognized the familiar sights of his old nemesis. "What a surprise it is to see you again, my dear Ninja," he said, with a sly grin spreading across his face. His heart was pounding with excitement.

Welcome to Ninjago, my new master," Nadakhan said as he enjoyed listening to the grumbles of the ninja. However, as he turned around, he saw the Mechanic bowing down to pledge his loyalty to the Jin.

"Ah, so it was you who set me free," Nadakhan said with a smile. "In return for your kindness, I may grant you three wishes. But beware, there are certain things you cannot wish for love, death, or harm to others."

"I- I wish to be your loyal number two, so we may turn Ninjago into our image!"

Nadakhan's sinister laugh echoed through the room, filled with malice and contempt. "Your wish is yours to keep."

Lloyd's fury rose as he let out a deafening "NO!", struggling fiercely against the goons who held him captive. He decided to use his spinjitzu skills to fight back and break free from their grip, hoping to take down Nadakhan and the Mechanic. But alas, his attempts were futile, and he found himself trapped. Suddenly, Mr. G swooped in and used his arm like a grappling hook to catch Lloyd, holding him pinned against the wall that was now engulfed in flames. The intense heat was too much for Lloyd to bear, and he let out a heart-wrenching cry of agony as the fire burned his skin.

"Well, ninja! My loyal number two and I must take a leave," Nadakhan gave an evil grin before disappearing with Mechanic and his goons.

As Cole was sprinting towards Lloyd, he suddenly saw his friend collapse to the ground. Panic set in as he reached Lloyd's side and urgently called out, "Lloyd, are you okay?!"
