Chapter 21 - Shattered mind (Part 1)

The night of July 25, 2016. It is the time where sadness overwhelms the surroundings. Sam cries in the hands of lifeless Joseph as they made it to the hospital. The paramedics looked down in guilt that they couldn't save the patient in time. Just to make sure to confirm the death, the paramedic opens the back doors of the ambulance as the doctors got in and extract Joseph with the hospital stretcher. Sam stays at the back of the ambulance whimpering with sadness and loss. He felt cold and lonely when he realized that when he truly is alone for once without his friend. He asked for it, but only for once. He realizes on the spot and Sam cries even more. The paramedics got the hold of him when he started to go wild. The paramedics rushed lifeless Joseph into the surgical room so that they can confirm if he has passed away for good. And judging by the amount of blood that has poured out of Joseph's chest, they ought to look down too with fear and doubt. Sam sat down with loneliness on a metal bench just outside of the hospital. he doesn't know what to do and feels a lot of sorry when he had no one anymore. Such a waste for all your emotions and now a friend has rested in peace. The doctors settled Joseph's lifeless body by surgically removing the knife first and placed him on the hospital bed.

It has been a few hours since all of this happened. Sam kept apologizing inside the hospital where the people inside couldn't do anything but to endure his cries. He had gone insane for a while and eventually the security had to put the wild Sam down over to the sofa and eventually Sam pushes them back and takes a deep breath with all the tears and loud beating heart keeps rolling around.

Few minutes back into the house, Jtan wonders where his son went again. He was getting agitated and wants to go angry on his son all over again. But then suddenly a telephone catches his attention, JTan stands up and goes over the telephone to know who is calling at this very night. But then when he picked up, it was the New York hospital that was calling. JTan was shocked when he heard this. Did something happened to his son ? Why we're they calling ? These we're the thoughts that got inside his head. " This is JTan calling, and yeah... I'm his...father...what happened ? "

JTan couldn't believe it. something bad did happened and JTan prepares himself for this. " Sir...this is the New York's hospital calling, Your son...I'm afraid...is...d-"

Suddenly, the power cut out. Telephone call was suddenly cut and JTan got very angry because he has no idea about his son's whereabouts. But while he holds the telephone in hand, JTan looks out of the window to find two police cars wailing and is probably coming towards his house. His face turned in fear about what is going on. He couldn't imagine, and couldn't comprehend the truth.  JTan has plans about needing to talk with the cops first before rushing to his car and will be making his way to the hospital without any distractions. Jack stays in the house as JTan prepares the things he needed to face at this very time.

Back in the hospital, Joseph lies in the hospital bed inside the hospital room unresponsive and presumed to passed away. Sam heads inside and slowly closes the door to see his friend one last time. Getting closer, he sees his friend Joseph lifeless. Sam can feel his friend cold and lonely too. He wanted to comfort him with some words and so he goes to stand along his side and talks some few words. " Joseph I... I just want to... say...*Sniffles* I'm sorry... I'm sorry for the things I...*Sniffles* Did to myself and...*cries* now it has caused me to hurt you...I... can't...It hurts so much... please...come back...I Promise I'm something worth for you please !..."

A doctor comes inside the hospital room. Sam settles from Joseph away and stands in the middle of the room, waiting for what the doctor has to say all of this. "alright...patient...Joseph...Far...time of death-"
