Before you could ask me for time
Flatter me with words that rhyme
Make them count, make it real
And let them know what not to stealBefore we leave every diner
Show me a smile that will never wither
Fret not, I'll care you so delicately
I'll astonish you, fright you amazinglyBefore you'd ride me home
Write your words in my heart of stone
Carve them deep so I'll never forget
We'll soon unveil this little secretBefore you tell me your goodnight
Let me hug my blanket tight
You are the cold weather in Mindanao
Making me wish I'd tell you right nowBefore you close your eyes
Do prey for clear blue skies
And consider the turbulence in me
For our days — our fate-bound journeySo before you lean for a darling kiss,
Say that I'm the fawn you'll yearn and miss
And before you say you love me,
I'll write you millions; promising serenity⊶⊰ ⊱⊷
