Stole my heart (An Aruden au)

- Chapter 14 -

Aru POV

BEACHHHHH!

I AM GOING TO THE BEACH! 

I am super excited cause I only went to the beach twice. Over my mom's busy schedule and my laziness it never seemed to work out. But now Aiden suggested that idea and I am super excited. The feeling of cool water as you dip your legs is wonderful.

Since it's November, I hope it rains cause, submerged in the water at the beach and rain is gonna be amazing so fingers crossed.

I quickly get everything together and head out. My mom was still there so I told her I was going to the beach with a friend

She looked like she wanted to protest but thought otherwise. Thank god for that cause I really wanted to go.

I head out only to find Aiden waiting, flipping car keys in his hand. 

"Come on." He says, pointing to a BMW. Wow, he must be loaded.

"When is your birthday?" I ask, suddenly thinking about it as we climb into the car.

"November 6th." He says, casually. He took out the car from the garage and started driving.

"Novem-That's tomorrow!" I burst out.

"Mmm-hmm" He hums, agreeing.

"Well, what are you doing?" I ask.

"Nothing" He says with a shrug

"Noth-No, nope. won't work. Utterly unexceptional."

He laughs and says "Well, too late now, huh?"

"It's never too late" I say with a grin, already planning.

It was 10 minutes of silence and I was thinking of what we could do for Aiden's birthday. I'll have to invite Brynne, Rudy and Mini. Including me, Aiden and Aiden's mom, it'll be 6 people. Where could it be held though? Certainly not in his house. And he likes photography but what place could we go which is related to photos? Ok, nothing, so we are crossing that off the list. Fine, we'll hold it at my place then. Ohh and cake?

I turn to him "What is your favorite flavor? As in favorite cake?"

He raised an eyebrow, effortlessly. How does one do that? I try so hard and it does not work. It takes me five minutes to raise an eyebrow!

"That's what you've been thinking about?" He asks, breaking my thought process

"Well, yes."

"Well, honey cake is good. But so is red velvet. And almond would also be a fitting choice but carrot is fine too. Vanilla and marble could also top the list, to be honest and-"

"Stop, stop. I have heard enough. And how could you have mentioned every other flavor except chocolate? Chocolate is the best."

"Well, I didn't say lemon cake either. Or sponge cake."

"You are hopeless."

"And we are here!" He exclaims and I look at the beach.

It had white sands and crystal clear water and there were so less people!

Still in awe, I get out of the car and hear a chuckle.

"You act like you have never been to a beach." Aiden remarks and I scoff

"I have..........................twice."

He looks at me shocked. "You are joking!"

"Nope" I say with a straight face.

"Well, come on then! We only have two hours!" He says and starts running.

We both head out and I leave my bag in the sand as I run into the water.

It was wonderful. We were there for an hour and a half in the water, splashing each other and playing, before it started raining! Yes!! I squealed and Aiden looked like he wanted to run for cover for which I laughed.

It was like the clouds, the thunder and sky were doing what I willed!

I went deeper in the water despite Aiden's protests and then he sighed before following me.

It was brilliant!

Aiden let us stay for 20 minutes before ruining it.

"Time to go" He said.

I groaned "Live a little. Pleaseeeeeeee. Five more minutes"

He wanted to protest but gave in. Score!

     ----FIVE MINUTES TIME SKIP CAUSE WHY NOT------

"Ok, that's it. Come on. I will carry you if you don't come now." He threatens.

"Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee??"

"Nope."

"Then-uh-um-" I got cut off.

He waved over to someone. Brynne. What was she doing here?

"Hi Brynne!!" I shout and she enters the water in black leggings and pastel yellow top which says 'Run, if you want to live' in dark green letters.

"Hello!" She replies.

"It's closed?" Aiden asks and Brynne nods.

"Closed? What's closed?" I ask.

"My uncles restaurant. They put it near here with a small but luxurious resort since this beach is so pretty." Brynne explains.

"Ahhh, that's nice." I remark.

"Brynne, I have a favor to ask. Can you please carry Aru to the car while I get the stuff?" Aiden asks and I scoffed. Surely, she wouldn't so that.

"Sure. See you in 3" She says and I probably looked like a ghost.

"No. Nuh-uh" I say but Brynne puts me over her shoulder. What the hell?

"Thank you!" Aiden shouts, taking my bag to the car while Brynne runs towards him. She sets me down right next to the car and I huff.

"You both are awful."

"Love you too, Aru!" Brynne says with a smug smile. I suddenly remember about Aiden's party and whisper it to her. She agrees, enthusiastically.

 It is going to be awesome.

Hello.

I am sick and bored. Utterly bored. I re-watched Trolls, Trolls 2, Trolls 3, Miraculous season 5 and am utterly bored (as I might have mentioned).

So I wrote this. 

And now I am back to bored.
