Hi and welcome to this story, which was my ONC entry for 2024. It was initially based on this prompt:
The town's witch has gone missing and no one is looking for her but her two familiars - a crow and a black cat, plus the teen who has always been scared of her.
Once I saw this prompt, I made myself a challenge to find a way to use it in a contemporary setting. Which prompted the idea of writing a story that was also a podcast and that's how this story was born.
So what is this story? Well, it's a Paranormal YA mystery/coming-of-age story with queer elements. It's a story about not quite finding your place in the world and what that feeling can do to you. It's a story for anyone who has ever felt lost in life. It's a story about friendship, love and family.
I hope this story resonates with whoever reads it.
