Because life is awfully boring, and so is death, I has to try to make everything a tad more exciting.
Aurora was painting Gael's nails and her own. Apparently they get matching nails every month and this month, they decided on the theme of ghosts.
It's me inspired. I'm very proud of myself for inspiring others to do great things.
We can hear their parents chucking plates or something at each other downstairs. Shattering glass. A lot of screaming.
"Do you still have your girl scout costume from grade 9?" Aurora asked out of nowhere. I also got a bunch of questions. First off, why do he have that in the first place?
"Yes... Why would you need that?" He asked carefully.
"Okay, so me and my friends want to start a business, we will bake cookies and sell them," She explained, "The problem is, we can't just go house to house like weird kids and ask if they want to buy out cookies. So we will pretend to be Girl Scouts. Now, all my friends already have costumes because they were a girl scout at some point, I think. I don't."
"I don't think you would fit my grade 9 costume-"
"Of course I would. They only reason they casted you as that is because you were the shortest, great for portrayal of an 11 years old. You're still short!" Still questions.
"It's a fake Girl Scout uniform though."
"No ones cares! Can I use it?"
"Sure..."
"I'll need that next weekend. And your help in baking cookies!" I wanna bake cookies.
She finished painting ghost themed nails. They're actually really cool. I want ghost nails.

"YOUR ASS PLAYING POKEMON GO IS ENDANGERING MY NEEDS!" Their mom yelled, throwing a fork at her husband.
So the 3 of us went downstair for some reasons and here we are, being in the middle of a war zone.
"Well I'm the one bringing the milk back!"
"YOU DON'T EVEN COME BACK UNTIL A WEEK LATER!"
"SO WHAT? I CAME BACK. I DON'T SEE YOU COMING BACK FROM YOUR CONTROLLING MOM PHASE! OUR KIDS HAVE PROBLEMS!"
"YOUR LAZINESS IS RUBBING OFF OF EVERYONE! LOOK AT YOUR DAUGHTER SHE DON'T EVEN HAVE A HOBBY"
"OH REALLY? YOU WANTED TO LEAVE THE FAMILY BACK WHEN WE FOUND OUT OUR CHILD HAS MEDI-"
"Yeah we should definitely leave," Aurora said, pulling Gael, and technically me, out through the front door.
But I want to hear more drama, not walk on burning hot concrete with chalk doodles. It's so hot that you can feel the air around you. I mean, I'm a ghost so I can't, but it look like that. The other ghosts here probably thinks so too.
Aurora was wearing a cute pink t-shirt and running shorts and no sunscreen, probably wanting to get a tan or something but will just get a horrible sunburn.
Now Gael on the other hand is being a vampire, with long sleeves and they're black too, covering his whole body. Here's a little science thing, black does not absorb heat or whatever, so if you wear black on a sunny day, you will heat up faster. Wear lighter or pastel colours instead. Not only will they heat you up, they're aesthetic.
"You think they're gonna get a divorce?" Aurora asked suddenly.
I giggled, "Girl, of course they would." Not that it was funny, I just think it's funny that she need clarification.
"Maybe... The arguments only get bad when mom is pregnant. They just worry about the future once again," Gael explained.
"It seems like most of their problems are us," She retorted back. "Their lives would probably be better if we didn't exist."
"I'm sure they don't think that," he assured her.
"Probably yeah. You deserve it." I said at the same time. I found myself lacking empathy as a dead person who no one can hear.
Aurora stopped and looked at her brother with angry eyes. She kicked a rock at his shin. "Why are you so mean and inconsiderate?"
"What?" He winced.
She stared at him for a full minute before widening her eyes with realization. "Oh my gosh. There's like a ghost with you." She pointed at me.
"You can see me?" I asked.
She nodded. Still looking at me in disbelief. "I think you're really mean."
"... April's.... April's Fools?"
"It's June."
".... Sorry. I thought you can't hear me," I said sheepishly.
"My teacher said that just because no one could see you doesn't mean you shouldn't act with responsibility and leadership," she said, putting her hands on her hip.
"I got that lesson too. It didn't work," Gael added.
"Let's start over. My name is April," I told Aurora who wasn't sure about befriending a ghost.
"I'm Aurora," she said, "and I expect better behavior from you."
Yay. Now I have beef with a 10 years old.
"Okay okay, sorry. I don't hope your parents break up or whatever, but it's really possible. And if we're thinking realistically here-" I said but then Gael cut me off.
"Awesome, we're all friends now!" He exclaimed, "so let's talk about other stuff!"
We both looked at him like 'aint no one asked shut up'.
"Do your parents fight a lot?" Aurora asked me.
I don't even remember. But I get feelings that point toward stuff sometime.
For example, right now, I feel like my parents love each other very much.
I can somehow sense that my parents always agree on everything, they don't argue and fight.
"I don't think so."
"How did you die?" She questioned. "Why can I see you now? Who were you? Why can my brother see you first when I'm better?"
A bunch of questions that I can't answer.
"I don't know, the world work in mysterious ways huh?" I gave an overly dramatic shrug.
We kept walking. Some birds flew overhead of us, and luckily did not bomb us.
"Ooooh it's my birthday next week! I'll be 11!" Aurora exclaimed out of nowhere.
"Okay... What do you want?" Gael asked.
"... So I have a bit of a big list... It's at home. Let's go home now and get it!" She chirped.
I started to regret burning McDonald's and get him fired from his job.
But then I remembered he also unintentionally stole my dream girl from me.
They haven't even gone on a date yet, so it's okay. When they do, I'll make sure they break up.
"This will be my last birthday as the youngest and favourite!" Aurora said grumpily.
Imagine. I can't. I feel like I was an only child.

So I think I might use that one irrelevant chapter I deleted to make an Aurora birthday chapter
If I can somehow make that related to the plot, if not, extras time
