Too bad I'm dead. If I was still alive, I could've taken up theatre and audition for Veronica. I would've made an excellent Veronica.
But first, we need to talk to the pick mes. Or more specifically, my childhood best friends, Emily and Violet. They would probably know the purer me back in the bright days.
I deeply doubt it, but maybe there is still goodness in them. Maybe.
After a week of school, I had found the schedule boring, like last year.
"We need to talk to those pick-mes!" I told Gael by his locker, getting impatient to get this investigation going.
"Yeah, they'll never talk to me. I'm not plastic enough," He replied as he get his lunch and went to the hallway where they eat lunch.
I decided not to join his friends for lunch and float around Heather. She knows that I exist, what will she do about it?
I mean, I know for one thing that I'm not letting her see me again.
That time was when I was young and naive. Or I guess dead and naive. Whatever, I do not like the twins.
"Okay, now help me practice to get a role," Heather demanded, shoving some script papers at her brother.
He reads a few lines. "To be honest... um... you're not Veronica."
"Of course I'm Veronica! I'm literally a victim of high school and bad decision making," She snapped. Not wrong about the second part, but she's very manipulative. Like JD. She should try out for JD- even though Gael is trying out for that.
"... I think I could disagree with that," Hudson mumbled.
"Oh shut it," Heather said and crossed her arms, "You're literally only my brother because I haven't disown you yet." I don't think she understands how family trees work.
That's it. I have to ruin her audition. Not sure how that would destroy her, but it should do some damage. Not sure how.
I scribbled on some random cues on her fake script for audition. Make her look stupid.
Not that it would work, but I was angry, so I did what I could.
Maybe it will ruin her reputation? She is on top of the school though.
Ooooh make her do something horrible so she'll be sent away.
==========
"How did your audition went?" I asked Gael, eyeing Heather as she entered the room next.
"I think I've convinced them I want to blow up the school," He replied, shrugging, "I think it went well."
"Nice. Better hope Heather don't land Veronica," I replied angrily.
"Definitely not." He shuddered.
We walked back into the auditorum, where I see the pick-mes scrolling through their glitter phone with ridiculously long nails.
Here's that chance to find out my true unfinished business. No one else is sitting with them, mostly are practising their auditioning line, so it wouldn't cause a scene.
"Go talk to them!" I pushed Gael across the shiny wooden floor to the plastic seats.
We finally got close by and Gael said "Hi-"
"EWWWW GET AWAY FROM ME RAWWWW RAWWWWW" Karen yelled and hissed. That definitely caused some damage.
Violet looked away while Emily joined in the hissing a bit, not really into it.
