I almost missed the bus the bus to school and went to Quebec instead. At least I catch some sleep on that bus.
The school feel more real than usual. People seems like they are doing more realistic stuff. Maybe it's the side effect of sleeping.
"Gaeeel!" A high-pitched voice rang. I saw Emery running toward me from under a tree. What does she want now?
"Hi?"
"When's your birthday?" She asked. That was so random. I've been told not to give strangers my birthdate for safety reasons.
But fuck that.
"December 12th, why?" I replied.
"Well I just wants to know everyone's birthday- just being nice y'know," She shrugged, "Never know if they're alone that day or no."
Timothy joined us, I noticed his hair seem to be balding.
"What's with your hair?" I asked.
"Valuable Village's hair dye was bad," He told me, with regrets in his eyes. He put on those silly hat with a propeller on top to cover his head.
Then, he noticed Emery and smirked, "Dam, you're looking nice today girl." We're all flabbergasted, I know.
"... Thanks? But I'm a dude. right now... until I say so," Emery replied, inching away.
Timothy nodded wisely, "That's okay. You're looking nice today dude." Is he... finger guning?
Emery nodded, and slowly backed away from us. Soon he was gone.
"Ugh did I say something wrong?" Timothy asked me.
"I don't know. I'm the least qualified person for that," I told him truthfully. We walked toward the front door when someone else called my name from behind.
Can't people leave me alone?
"Gael!!!!!" I sighed and turned back, what could possibly make my day worst now?
There, smiling at me with the brightest smile was Hudson. Yippie it's not worst!
"Hudson!" I yelped running toward him and almost jumped on him for a hug. "You're not dead!!!"
I hope this isn't one of my hallucinations again.
"Nope! I actually had been for weeks!"
"Why didn't you tell me?" I'm too happy to be mad at him right now anyway.
He shrugged, "I wanted to make sure I'm fine. I just have a few follow ups to make sure the scar is healing correctly."
"So you're fine now?"
His face dropped slightly, but he still kept up with a small smile.
"Yeah.."
I was gonna ask what's wrong but Timothy came up behind me.
"Who's this try hard looking?" He asked, narrowing his eyes. That's not very nice Timothy.
Is it because he's wearing a silly bandana to keep his hair out of his face or what?
"... Who are you?" Hudson responded. I can tell he's trying hard not to address his stupid hat.
"I could say the same to you," Timothy said through gritted teeth.
"Oh really?" Hudson frowned.
"Oh, so this is Timothy, he's a friend," I introduced them, "and this is Hudson, he's also a friend."
I feel like monkey in the middle and I'm not catch whatever inside conversation they're having in their inner thoughts.
Thanks to the bit of sleep though, I can seriously tell there's some tiny tension between then. All hail sleep!
"Well we're gonna be late..." I said.
I slowly treaded to the school, with them behind me. I don't think they like each other quite yet, but oh well, they'll warm up to eachother soon.
==========
I entered Math class with Timothy because we share the same schedule.
Hudson was already there in his usual spot, and Timothy didn't like that.
"Hey pal," he said carefully, "that's actually my spot."
"Really?" He replied, scoffing, "I sits here before you came."
"Yeah? And where were you?" Timothy leaned in closer.
"Excuse you but I got shot so I was in a hospital." Hudson rolled his eyes.
"Well the seat was up for grabs so I took it."
"Still mine."
They stared at each other in the eyes.
They're so silly fighting like that right now, such friendly disagreement.
Obviously, they both want the front, and there's two seats for the front, they each could take one. Shaking my head.
"Guys!" I said, breaking up the silly disagreement, "You can both sit in the front, I'll just sit behind y'all."
As much as I hate Timothy, I'm not about to let him be left out.
I pulled a chair at the table behind them and sat down.
Now everyone is happy!

If only someone could help us out there
Shut up brain. I don't know what it's rambling on and on about. I think I might be insane.
More thoughts that don't make sense.
Pleeeease show me it's not hopeless
I wonder how is Nolan doing. I don't know if he could wake up because of the possession.
Help meeee
What about April? She's just gone. What if she's mad at me? That's a possibility right?
I checked to make sure my locker was locked. And again. And again. And again. And again. Okay one more time to make sure.
Behind my door was someone, people had to stop sneaking up on me using the locker door.
I frowned. "Francis."
"Hi Gael. Can we talk?" He asked nervously, fidgeting with his hoodie strings.
"I don't know can we?" I snapped, turning away, "I don't think we can."
He sighed, "okay..." He walked away sadly.
"Poor guy!" Emery's voice said beside me. I jumped. Where did he come from?
"What?" I asked.
"Maybe I should get his birthday!" He said. What's up with him and people's private information?
"Why?"
"Everyone at school seems to hate him. I'm new so I don't know old school drama." Does he not watch the news? "But I think they're misjudging him!"
He skipped away, following Francis before I could say anything.
