The pick-mes and Heather are now suddenly good friends. That is concerning. The two power plant of the school coming together could create a nuclear reaction.
I could continue to tail them, but if I hear them squawk like birds again, it's over. I can't. No. Save me from this hell.
I guess it's back to the gang I go.
Gael was at his locker, getting stuff
"Heather and pick-mes are besties now!" I informed him. He looked at me, and proceed to knock on his door a bunch of time.
"Never mind, what?"
"The pick-mes and Heather are friends now! That's bad! Very bad!" I repeated myself.
He nodded, "Okay very bad, got it. What do you want us to do about it?" He want us to do something about it?
I shrugged, that was just info to know, not to do something about.
"I have an idea," He said finally, closing the door and put on the lock. But just as we were about to leave, Emily came running down into the pit.
Her hands were on her face, but we can hear sobbing. She's a mess.
I looked at Gael and he looked at me.
"Are you ok-" He started.
"SHUT UP!" She shouted, her voice kind of cracked. "I got kicked out of the group because Heather took my spot!" Then returned to crying and running away.
"Oh... I'm sorry to hear-"
"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE GODAMMIT! I HATE HEATHER ADEJI!" She screamed and stomped her elephant feets away.
Gael quickly got up to the main floor and I followed.
"Wait," I said after a feel steps, "She hates Heather." I have an idea.
He looked at me, "Thank you, I didn't quite get that from the whole interaction." I rolled my eyes.
"No think about it. If we got enough people to hate Heather, she would be stripped of her powers," I suggested but we already got back to the group with people for him to reply.
Oh look it's Hudson, the better twin.
PAY ATTENTION TO ME UGH.
"Oh hey you're back!" Francis said.
"WHAT ABOUT ME WHY DO YOU HAVE TO WALK FAST?" I yelled. I got pushed into a nearby locker by Gael. There are some serious deep cleaning needed to do in this one.
I got out from the metallic place.
"STOP IGNORING ME!"
"Y'all wanna go to my science fair?" Nolan asked them.
"I MADE A GOOD SUGGESTION!" I yelled. Only footsteps on the squeaky clean marble floor can be heard.
Ugh I hates being ignored. I get that it's for a good reason, but when only 1 person can see and hear you, well you need all the attentions you could get.
==========
"uuuuuuh what the fuck is even a science fair?" I asked as me and Gael walked into the front of the school on a Sunday, "Why do we need to be at school on Sunday? And please can we make Heather unlikeable?"
"Sure," He replied, "I think we have a chance to do that in the musical. A lot of people would be watching."
"YAY!" A crow nearby flew away from the noise. Can animals hear me?
Inside, they had set up a bunch of different colourful tables with stuff on them as demonstration and big fold-posters. There are also balloons filling the room. Who knew science fair could look like a kid's birthday party?
We found Nolan's stand, he have a Newton's cradle on it. I read the information on it. Apparently it can also be called the Newton's ball clicker and I feel like I can do something with that knowledge in mind.
I pulled back a ball and let it do it clicky thing. It's calming and mesmerizing to watch.
There are a bunch of little kids in the place for some reasons. I mean it's just science so it should be fine.
One small girl with a wolf-cut came up to the stand and looked at Nolan straight in the eye. "What's the physic and logic behind this?" She asked smartly.
Gael leaned in and whispered in his ear, "I thought you took chemistry."
"Whatever." He turned back to the girl, bending down to get to eye level. "So you see-"
"I don't care hehehehehhe," She giggles and yanked one of the ball and string off of his project and threw it on the ground. Then she ran away giggling and laughing. Future chaos agent right here.
Nolan picked up his project's piece. "Why? I'm out of glue gun glue."
"No, with kids, you can't just be gentle, they don't listen. Watch." Gael scanned for another kid to come by.
A boy wearing a blue jacket came forward. "What this thing how it work?" He asked.
Gael stare the him down from above, even though he's short. "This right here? It's a Newton's cradle. Yeah, Issac Newton made that to prove energy transfer from one ball to another. And his law of how a force will be apply on an object will give out equal force. So if you send 2 balls flying, 2 balls from the other end will fling out."
"Why are you being nerdy?" I asked, disapproving of him yapping.
"I don't understand, can I try?" He reached out and yanked another ball off. "Whoopsie. BYEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" He ran away.
Nolan looked at Gael and screamed, "I ONLY HAVE 4 BALLS LEFT IT WON'T WORK!"
"Yuh huh it will. Hey Francis!" Francis joined us and waved back.
"Hey! Having trouble talking to the kids from the nearby daycare?" He asked.
"Yeah..." Nolan sighed.
"Only child problem," Gael coughed.
We should search for Heather. Not whatever this is.
"Okay, no. You need to just talk to them normally," Francis advise, "Here." He pulled back one of the ball and let it go, making sure it still worked.
A boy with a bowlcut came up.
"Hi, wanna know what this is? Here is the Newton's cradle-"
He got kicked in the leg and yelped in pain as the kid grabbed the whole thing and threw it at Nolan's face. Some people around him laughed.
He turned red, "What's going on?" He looked at his project.
The kids laughed at his face, he got extremely mad. "STOP IT YOU KIDS DON'T KNOW NOTHING!"
That was a surprise. Even the kids were jumpscared, they started crying because kids cries at everything.
"OH MY GOSH HE'S ABUSING THE CHILDREN!" I turned back quickly. It was Heather, taking pictures of crying kids.
"No what, I like kids-"
"THATS PEDOPHILLIA" She yelled.
"You're just twisting what I SAID!" He shouted, but Heather was already on her way.
"I HAVE EVERYTHING RECORDED!"
