Miles POV:
"Alpha, are you certain you want to try to infiltrate the Vampire's Gentleman's Club?" my Beta Sam questioned.
"Look, Nicholas has ruled this town and begun taking over neighboring towns. A little too close to our pack for my comfort. He says he means nothing but peace but I know he takes girls whose families owe debts and perhaps they know something. If we hire the best workers, they may have been able to be in his very house," I reminded Sam of my logic.
"Yes, Alpha, but you and I both know. Nicholas could have easily compelled any of them to forget. This is practically a suicide mission if we are caught," Sam said as he paced back and forth in my office.
"I do not think they would attack there. Humans do not know of our existence and very few are aware that vampires truly exist. Humans strictly believe it is just a clever theme for all of his businesses within the nightlife. If anything he would merely try to attack later, but we have good money we will offer up front for their best dancers. You may enjoy if you must since you also have not yet found your mate, but do not forget to probe for answers," I reminded him. "Now go get ready, we leave in two hours."
-------------------------------------------
The outside was black painted brick with double black doors for a fake entrance for tourists in case they stumbled upon the Vampire's Gentleman's Club. It kept them away from the secrecy with a single bar to appease their interest in cheap vampire decor. The true entrance could only be found by a single red light, lit in the alleyway.
As my Beta and I neared the building, my wolf started going crazy. I struggled to keep him at bay, but I managed to keep him quiet. 'Calm down, Malachi' I told my wolf through my own conscious thoughts. I felt him whimper but he shut up, quit trying to take control.
My Beta took the lead. I knew I would give off Alpha energy, even if the guards were oblivious to what we were. Our best hopes were to confuse them and make it seem like Sam was the one with the money and the power in our business endeavor. At least that is what they will be made to believe.
Sam did the known three knocks with a pause before the last one. It worked. The door opened.
"Welcome guests to Vampire's Gentleman's Club. How may we provide you pleasure this evening? Fine viewings, drinks, or a bit more of a private experience," the gentleman in black questioned. He smelled human; perhaps luck was on our side.
"Two of your finest dancers for each of us to experience a private encounter. We are on a business trip and our hosts recommended this fine establishment," Sam spoke with purpose.
"Yes sir, you have come to the right place. Follow me to the private rooms, my name is Eric if you two may need anything else," Eric said. I could tell he was human by his scent, he didn't reek.
As we walked further in, my wolf was practically clawing at my own mind to get out. It felt like he was pacing back and forth in the depths of my mind. He had never reacted this way, not even in some of my most dangerous situations. I refused to let him out but I was on high alert.
As I scanned the place, I knew to the left, just around the wall was where others sat to enjoy the dancers on stage. We were guided down a long hallway before veering to the left. Dark black walls, and dark marbled floors all throughout. Eric gestured to two rooms.
"Room one and room two are our finest rooms. Luxurious leather couches and soundproof walls. What level of service would you enjoy? A private dance, a private endeavor below, or something more?"
