Boss : I will give it back when am done.

**At the basement**

Boss : Hey, I have what you asked for.

Noeul : wow, you got me wuthering Heights, I love this book.

Boss : You do?

Noeul : Yes, why you have never read a book before.

Boss : Ofcourse I have, I have read fifty shades of grey.

Noeul : That doesn't count. Fifty shades of grey is a crime to English literature.

Boss : how do you know, have you read it?

Noeul : I have actually, I needed to see what all the fuss was about.

Boss : Noeul, you little naughty boy.

Noeul : I was told it was a romance novel." I honestly don't know what I was expecting.

Boss : I personally thought it was very romantic..😏

Noeul : Ofcourse you would.

Noeul then took a deep breath..

Boss : what's wrong?

Noeul : I can't read it. Reading usually helps me fall asleep but I can't even focus on the words I'm tired. I haven't slept properly since I've been here.

Boss..

Boss protrudes his tongue between his lips and licks his thumb before turning the page. He smiles to himself as he flicks through the pages to the first chapter. I shuffle closer to him so I can try and follow the words on the page and my knee brushes against his thigh.
