Calm before the storm

Sara calls her dad.

Sachin: Yes Sara, at what time are you coming here?

Sara( in rusty voice): Dad, I think I'll not be able to come.

Sachin: What happened? Your voice sounds so different.

Sara: I'm not well actually.

Sachin: Okay then we are coming home.

Sara: No dad, please. I don't want you all to cut your trip short because of me. Shubman, Alysha and Aditi are here with me.

Sachin: Beta, we'll be worried about you all the time if we'll not come.

Sara: Dad, Shubman wants to talk to you.

Sachin: Okay give him the phone.

Shubman: Hello sir.

Sachin: Haa Shubman bolo.

Shubman: Sir actually Sara started feeling unwell since last night and I think it's because of the amount of travelling she did in the past few days. But sir please don't worry about her . I'm here. Her friends are here. Y'all don't need to come here. I'll manage it, trust me.

Sachin: I trust you, Shubman. Okay then take care of her and keep updating about her health.

Shubman: Sure sir, I'll do that.

Sachin: And one more thing.

Shubman: Yes sir?

Sachin: Don't take your health for granted while taking care of her. Okay?

Shubman( smiles): Jii sir.

Shubman cuts the call and tells Sara about the conversation. Aditi and Alysha then went out of the room to give them space. After few minutes, Shubman gets a call from Sebastian.

Sebastian: Hey Shub, where are you? Why didn't you show up for the shoot?

Shubman: What shoot?

Sebastian: You forgot? You have a shoot today. Just come quickly.

Shubman: I'm not coming. Sara is unwell and I can't leave her like this.

Sebastian: Ask someone else to take care of her. We'll wrap it up quickly.

Shubman ( rudely): I'm not asking someone else to take care of her. I'm her boyfriend not someone else. She needs me not someone else. She is my responsibility not someone else's. Do you get it? Either postpone or cancel the shoot. I'm not coming.

Sebastian: But Shubman, you are already committed to this shoot.

Shubman ( with anger ): And I'm committed to Sara more than anything else. Can't you get a simple thing?

Shubman cut the call. On the other hand, Sebastian just got the taste of Shubman's anger and clearly understood what value and importance Sara has, in his life.

Sara: Do you have a shoot today?

Shubman: I had. I've asked Seb to either postpone or cancel the shoot.

Sara: You should go. I'm fine.

Shubman: I'm not going anywhere.

Sara looked at him with so much love in her eyes. She didn't just fall in love with him once. She falls in love with him every time she looks at him.

Shubman: Why are you looking at me like this?

Sara ( smiles ): Nothing. I was just adoring my boyfriend.

Shubman kisses her forehead and was moving to her lips.

Sara: Shubman I'm sick.

Shubman: I don't care if you're sick, I'll kiss you because you're worth catching a fever or cold over.
