Positive or negative?

Shubman gathers up his courage and walks into the room where Sara is.

Shubman ( takes a deep breath): Sara, are you done with your assignment?

Sara: Yeah, almost. What's up?

Shubman: I want to talk to you about something.

Sara: Hmm.. go on.. I'm listening.

Shubman: No! Finish your work and then we'll talk. I want your full attention.

Sara: Okay! I'll wrap it up quickly. Just give me a few minutes.

Shubman: Take your time. Let me know when you're ready to talk.

Shubman was using his phone while sitting next to Sara, waiting for her to finish her work. Finally, Sara wrapped up her assignment and turned to him.

Sara: Okay, now we can talk. What happened? What's bothering you?

Shubman took a deep breath and looked into Sara's eyes, gathering his thoughts before starting the conversation.

Shubman: Sara, I think.....Ummm.. Are you feeling okay?

Sara: I'm perfectly fine. But what's this hesitation about?

Shubman: Can we book a doctor's appointment?

Sara: Appointment? For what?

Shubman: Last day, you were acting a bit different.

Sara: Exactly, how do you define 'different' ?

Shubman holds her hand, gathering enough confidence and courage to face her.

Shubman: You know, whatever I'm going to say might just come to you as a shock, but I think, not just me, our friends also think that.....

Sara ( interrupts): Why are you giving me so much explanation? Just tell it now, straight and directly.

Shubman ( in one go): I think main papa banne wala hu..

Sara ( laughs) : Papa? Kiske?

Shubman: Humare bachhe ka, obviously!!!

Sara: Woh kab aaya? Usme toh abhi bohot time hai...

Shubman: Shayad time aa gaya hai..

Sara: What are you even saying? Are you drunk?

Shubman: I think you're pregnant.

Sara ( shocked): I'm pregnant? Who's told you that?

Shubman: It's not me. It was Aditi who said it.

Sara, still in shock, goes to the living room to find Aditi.

Sara: Bro!! What is he saying?!

Ishan ( whispers): Shubman ne pakka tumhara naam le liya.

Aditi ( whispers): It's fine. I'll handle her.

Sara: What are you guys talking about?

Aditi: Nothing, what happened?

Sara: What made you think I'm expecting?

Aditi: Well, Sara, first motion sickness, then mood swings and then late night cravings. It made us wonder if you could be expecting.

Sara ( realisation hits her ): Oh shit! This might be possible. I didn't notice these things but maybe you are not completely wrong.

Aditi: Hainaa??

Sara ( looks at Shubman): What if it's true?

Shubman ( scared ): Sachin sir would kill me. Aur kya?

Ishan: Guys, why are you scared? It's a good thing.
