Pov Lalisa Manoban
Even after sleeping for six hours straight I still felt tired, I couldn't wait to get to my hotel and fall into bed. After a lot of insistence, Rose let me take her home. As soon as we woke up, we put our clothes back on, thanking God that they had dried, the sun was out and fortunately the rain had passed.
I couldn't deny that that day followed by a night was one of the experiences I wouldn't want to forget, I knew we had crossed a lot of thresholds of intimacy in one go, but even so I didn't regret it, I enjoyed buying her time and talking to her, something that was very new to me.
- Is this it? - I asked, parking in front of a medium-sized house. There was a garage with no cars in front of it and the door leading into the house.
- Yes, this is it. -Rose said, picking up her bag and slinging it over her shoulder. Before she left, she looked at me. - Thanks for the ride, and for the hotel.
- Thank you for your patience and understanding. - I smiled at her gently, Rose returned the smile and got out of the car, leaving a void in the air.
I watched her walk up and open the gate. After taking the key out of her handbag, she looked at me one last time before going in.
Rose had called Jisoo and asked her to tell someone, who would Lia be anyway? a girlfriend? a sister? who would know so urgently that she wasn't coming home that night?
Why was I attaching so much importance to all this too? I gave my thoughts some peace and went to my hotel, I really needed to rest.

I opened my eyes and felt them being bothered by the light in the room. I sat up in bed, stretched and then looked at the clock: it was two in the afternoon. I got up, still drowsy, scratched my eyes and opened the large door leading to the living room. Jennie was sprawled on the sofa, finishing off a packet of Cheetos while watching a drama.
- She's awake, sleeping beauty. - I lay down on the sofa and put my head on Jennie's lap. - Rose broke up with you last night. - I raised my head to stare at her in disbelief. - It's a joke, Lala, relax.
- What killed me was sleeping in a box bed. - I laughed at my own words. -I look like a rich pain in the ass.
- You don't look like one, you are. -I slapped Jennie's thigh and heard the younger girl complain. - You left her at home, did you find out anything?
- Actually, all I know is that she lives with her parents and told a girl called Lia that she wasn't coming home the same day.
- Who's Lia? - Jennie asked curiously.
- I have no idea, it sounds like someone important.
- Jisoo told me that they usually get together with the college staff to sing and play instruments, she invited me, you know.
