Chapter song: If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys

POV Roseanne Park

After 6 months...

I entered the small restaurant looking around and finding an empty table near the window, I sat on the chair putting my bag aside and it didn't take long for a young man to serve me.

- Good morning. - he said with a shy smile, leaving the menu in front of me.

- Good morning. - I replied, smiling back, which made the boy blink a few times in confusion. — I'd like a coffee, please.

— Strong or average?

— Average. - he wrote in a small notebook with shaking hands, he already knew what was happening.

He had recognized me, I was still trying to get used to the fact that people knew me and were nervous in my presence.

The guy left and I took a book I was reading out of my bag while I waited for my cup of coffee. I looked outside to see the record company's car parked with my safety driver inside, a little exaggerated, right? I also agreed, but nothing made Lalisa change her mind. I had even managed to get her to lower the number to 1 since she wanted two.

I hadn't even debuted yet, when it happened she would send me at least 6. My coffee didn't take long to arrive, the same guy brought it to me, still a little shy but very helpful, I started drinking and finishing the last page of the book, it had taken me at least it took a month to achieve this feat, my life was limited to training these last few months and I felt that I was advancing more than expected, in fact it wasn't a feeling, my teachers said that, I had already recorded my mini concert, it was an incredible day especially Because Dong-hae was able to participate, his tour was coming to an end and every time we met he regretted it, but I tried to make him look on the bright side after all he could travel and get some rest.

I didn't have much free time that morning, it was the end of the year and there was a big company party, I put the cup aside and set aside a few dollars to pay and tip my shy waiter.

I left it on the table waving at him before leaving and he smiled again nervously walking to the table while I walked to the car.

I had to find an outfit for the party and review some studies before the break, every end of the year Lisa gave her artists and employees a break so they could rest with their families, I really admired her for that.

Not only for that but for many things she does that make her truly human, which is hard to believe when a person has so much money and success in their hands.

What happened between us didn't make the admiration disappear, in fact after we finally talked I liked her even more, she understood my side, she didn't question it and she actually agreed.

Flashback on

I looked at Lisa from afar, biting my lower lip, feeling nervousness consume me, she was talking to Myia and seemed very busy, after a week and a few days Lisa came back, I spoke to Myia, I discovered that that was the longest time she spent away from the record company and I couldn't put my curiosity aside even though I imagined why, she didn't call me anymore and I didn't send a message, I just continued with my studies and training, trying to pretend to myself that we had never happened and of course it didn't work, it had already happened. if another month has passed.
