Nico's POV
Emerging from the tall grass Stands a beautiful woman. Her hair is smooth and silky, dark and intriguing, her eyes shine a dazing yellow, Her outfit skin tight but loose coming down from the shoulders. I stare at her with awe, she reminded me of my mother. I am distracted by her beauty for a moment until I raise my sword and point it at her."Who are you?" I say as I try not to get lost in her eyes.
"Whatever you want me to be Half-blood." She says in same matter as I do. No hissing. No danger. No fear.
"You shouldn't be in here, something is lurking in the grass and you don't look like you could defend yourself." I say. It was true, though not because of her beauty, mainly because of the fact she didn't hold a weapon. She looks at me, hand goes to her chest.
"I beg your pardon?" She asks. glaring at me, I resist not looking into her eyes.
"Sorry but, when it comes down to it, what do you have to protect yourself?" I ask her.
"I don't need to protect myself." She claims. My eyebrows go up in suspicion.
"And why's that?" I ask. She doesn't answer. "Are you dead?" I ask, hoping she'd answer this time.
"Dead? I am very much alive aren't I?" She replies.
"Then how'd you end up down here?" I ask.
"Long story." She replies, nodding her head. We stand in silence for a bit, I observe and take notes on her movements.
"Have you seen a young girl in a blue dress?" I ask her.
"No." She says, pretty straight forward. "Why?" She snarls.
"She was just snatched, right from where you emerged. You must have seen her." I say. My arm getting tired from holding the sword out in front of me. "Or ate her." I suggested. She growls.
"I don't know what you're talking about Half-blood. I haven't seen anyone here for months." Months, she's been here for months?
"What do you mean, months?" I ask, switching the blade to my sore arm.
"I've been waiting for monthsssss." She hisses. Her body twisting and turning, manic laughing escaping her lungs as she reveals her true form.
Percy's POV
I sit on a bench in the boys shower room, taking off my shoes and sliding them underneath. I slowly get undressed checking the door every so often incase someone barges in, but the coast is clear. I hope in the shower and immediately feel a tingling sensation, my back that was aching ever since I woke up could now move with ease. As the water tickles my face I could help but smile, that is... until my satisfaction was interrupted. A squeal so loud it made me jump was coming from the entrance of the shower room. My heart drops as I look over to see Willow standing at the door, bruise on the right side of her face."WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!" She tells at me, pointing to the obvious sign on the door that reads 'Women's bathroom'. Shit.
"Uh, uhm, ehm... sorry." I say while quickly turning off the shower and running to the pile of clothes on floor. I almost trip over and Winter turns around, jaw still on the floor. Luckily my feet caught the fall otherwise I would have fallen face first into the ground. With my hands still occupied covering my vulnerability, I reach for the pile of clothes and start putting them on. I end up putting my tshirt on inside out and don't bother putting any socks on. I rush past Willow who was still frozen facing the other way on the door frame.
"Sorry, won't happen again!" I shout looking back at her as i'm already halfway back to my cabin.
I'm laying on my bed, hands on my face as I face the embarrassment. What was going on with me today? I'm acting like such a fool in front of people. Ugh. I stuff my pillow over my face and scream. I then calmly stand up and fix up my shirt, heading to the door. A knock on the door stops me dead in my tracks. Great. I open it up to see Willow standing there looking down at her feet.
"You uh, Left your shoes." She says letting out a little giggle. I swear I could see blush creeping up her cheeks.
"Oh, uhm thanks." I say trying to make it less awkward than it feels. "Please don't tell anyone?" Her eyes meet mine. She lets out another giggle and hands me my shoes then turns to walk away.
