Percy's POV
I walk into the infirmary, greeted by the memory of all the bodies after the battle of Manhattan. I shook the thoughts away and began walking toward the medication cabinet. I was greeted by an Apollo kid asking if I needed any assistance, I politely declined but he gave me a strange look."Are you sure?" The kid said, cringing as I flash him a smile.
"I'm sure, thank you." I reply.
"Okay... just let me know if you need anything." He says spectacle, not wanting to leave me injured.
"Thanks, I just.." I begin to say pointing to the cabinet when my vision lines up with a ghost. My heart sinks and my hand drops. The kid looks at me and reaches into the cabinet.
"This one?" He asks but I block it out. Nico is sat across the room, Will standing infront of him. Both of them looking my way. My jaw tightens, more in confusion rather than anger. How is he still alive? That isn't possible. Thats when my focus shifts from Nico to Will as his hand slides onto a metal tray beside him. He picks up a scalpel, fiddling with it in his fingers provokingly. My eyebrows raise, really? I scoff. Suddenly i'm disrupted by the kid who hands me some pills and gauze. "Come back if you need anything, or you could just stay?" He says cringing at the sight of my face. "You don't look like yourself." Those words hit me. He meant physically, don't work yourself up. But had I changed? Do I even recognise myself anymore? I turn to leave, releasing the grip I had on the items the kid gave me.
