Chapter 14

🌜Moondrop's🌛POV:

          I snapped out of my thoughts as the mysterious person's voice disappeared after I heard someone calling my name from behind. I could not see right, I saw some bright light in front of myself, it hurt my eyes. I turned around and I saw Montgomery.

🐊- Moon! What are you doing!? - Montgomery shouted while grabbing my hand and pulling me back.

🌜- What...? - I was confused.

🐊- Why are you getting out of the Pizzaplex?

🌜- Out of the...

          I snapped back to reality and saw that I was at the very entrance of the Mega Pizzaplex. I was standing right in front of the doors. That is the light I saw. It is very sunny outside. Not a single cloud can be seen up in the sky. How did I get here? Wasn't I just...

🐊- You good, bro?

🌜- I don't... How did I get here?

🐊- That's what I'm asking you? - Monty looked confused.

🌜- But I was in the arcade just a moment ago... - I held my head.

🐊- You don't remember how you got here?

🌜- No, I don't. I was just talking with- With... - I stooped.

🐊- Who did you talk with? - He asked worriedly.

          Do I tell him? I am not sure. I do not know if I should tell him yet. But he will understand, right? He will not judge me or find me weird for hearing voices in my head, right? He is my friend, he deserves to know. But how do I even explain it? 'You know, I'm just hearing a random person telling me how shitty my life is!'... Yeah, sure.

🌜- Doesn't matter... - I mumbled.

🐊- Moon. I am your friend. I wanna know what's going on! I could help. - He assured me. - We can go somewhere more comfortable, sit down and talk about it, okay?

          What do I say to this? I can not say no to it. That would be rude. Not like I don't want it, but do I want that? Do I need to have a therapy session now or something? I am confused.

🌜- Alright... Let's go.

          Montgomery held my hand and led our way. Shortly after, we arrived at his room. I was never in his room. Even before, we used to mistly be at 'Gator golf'. We entered and he brought me a purpose blanket with one huge star on it. It is indeed one pretty blanket.

          We sat on the couch as he put the blanket of me. I cuddled up in the warm blanket as I sat with my legs crossed in the corner of the couch. I feel weird and awkward.

🐊- So, what's the problem, bud? - He asked calmly.

🌜- I am not sure how to explain this... How to find the right words.

🐊- It's alright. Take your time. I will listen. - I love a friend like you, Monty.

🌜- Well... How do I... Someone talked to me. It's a familiar voice... - I said quietly.

🐊- Familiar voice? Did they talk to you before?

🌜- I don't think so... I'm hearing them for the first time, but their voice is so familiar... Like we knew each other for a long time.

🐊- Hm... Can you make a guess who could that be? Is there anyone you once knew or know now?

🌜- I don't know anyone else except for you and Sun! You obviously aren't the one, and even if Sundrop had a way to do it, I would recognize his annoying voice.

🐊- Understandable. Did they tell you anything about who they are, in the slightest?

🌜- They only told me that they are my friend and that I should trust them. That's all I have to know, they said.

🐊- A bit suspicious.

🌜- You don't say.

          This is going well so far. We don't have a solution yet, nor do we know who it is or who it might be, but I am glad that Monty and I can talk like this. He really is a good friend. I'm happy we met. If I told this to Sun, he would call me crazy or something.

🐊- What did they tell you? Like, what do they want from you?

🌜- They didn't really say what they wanted from me. They were just giving me flashbacks of how shitty things in my life are. About how Sun sees me, about how others were left with a thought of me being some kind of monster or something...

🐊- Shitty person. Moon, you aren't a monster. Why would anyone think that about you?

🌜- You know what I did when I wasn't in control of my actions...

🐊- That's wasn't your fault! You didn't have a say in that.

🌜- But it's still my hands that were covered in blood. It's still Sun's screams ringing in my head mixed with all the children in agony... He had the right to never let me out...

🐊- No, don't say that! - He put his hand on my shoulder. - Those parents, you will never see in life anyway. Animatronics, they don't even know you. You'll get to know them once and they will see how cool of a dude you are! And Sun? Who cares about what Sun thinks? You can always talk it out with him. It would be good if you two get on better terms soon, but all that matters is that you're okay, alright?

🌜- I guess...

🐊- About that person, we will find out who it is, okay? Next time they decide to bother you again, tell me.

🌜- Of course. I will try to find more about them though...

🐊- Don't get into anything ridiculous. But if you do, I'll be ridiculous with you.

🌜- Haha... Would you?

🐊- Of course, dude! That's what friends are for.

🌜- That's what friends are for...

🐊- Yes. And we are best friends. Are we not?

🌜- If you agree, we are.

🐊- We are. Come here, brother, let's go car racing!

🌜- Yeah, let's go.

          This went fantastically well. I am so, so happy to have Montgomery as a friend. As a best friend. He is nice. Because that's what friends are for...
