🌞Sun's🌞 POV:

What a wonderful day to play some role-playing! Isn't it? All my little, cute children, just running around and being so carelessly happy and forever entertained... Oh, how beautiful it is to be a little child, playing with your friends all day. Great times, right?

I always loved to watch over all these sweet children, I love them! Sometimes, I feel like they are my own kids since we spend so much time together! This job makes me so happy, so fulfilled. I could never imagine myself in any other kind of job. If I were to really choose, it would surely be something with children again.

How would it be if I wasn't a Daycare attendant? What other job could I do that is as beautiful as this one? Probably a teacher in the kindergarten or in elementary school, maybe. I never really thought of that, to be honest. All I know is that I am happy with my adorable children, and they are with me!

They seemed to be making a castle out of cardboard boxes and barrels! That's very cute. How lovely that actually is, isn't it? Their imagination can do anything! Every child is an artist of any kind, if only they could stay that way forever...

As I was looking at them from a short distance and being amazed by their mesmerising work of art, a few of them came running up to me!

🌞- Anything you need, little ones? - I asked as I kneeled down to their tiny level.

👩‍🦰- We need another actor for the final role of our game!

🧑- Yeah! We want you to help us!

🌞- Oh, really? How nice of you! I'll gladly join your little role-play!

My sweet children love to include me in almost everything they do, especially their funny role-plays. I must admit it was always my dearest pleasure to play with them in everything every day! There is nothing more fun and entertaining to do besides having fun with my kids.

👧- We need a villain this time!

🌞- I'm not that good as a villain, but I can try!

I don't really play as villains and evil characters often, but I always try to do my best. After all, it is just a fun role-play with children! Nobody here is a professional actor, hehe.

For some roles, I was the dragon for them! Then I was the waiter, even a maid. I have a whole wardrobe for different costumes so I could play more accurately with them! I like that fact. I was the knight saving the little princess, then a few times I was the princess!

👱- The other one could do it more accurately! - Little Johny spoke.

🌞- The other...?

I paused and thought for a second of what he meant by that, but the realisation hit me like a truck when I noticed the boy running towards the light switch. He wanted to turn off the lights... He wanted to call for Moon.

Knowing it is a bad idea, I rushed to stop little Johny from turning off the lights. It is not that I don't like Moon or that I don't want children to interact with him... I am just not entirely sure if it is completely safe for him to come out... Yet.

After successfully stopping the boy from turning the lights off, I nicely and politely explained to him why that might be a bad idea without making him confused or making him worried. Children won't always understand why some things are the way there are and why they must stay the way they are sometimes.

They were all a bit withered down because Moon could not join our little funny game, but they got pretty happy again once we started our entertaining performance together. It is always such a divine activity to do with them through the day.

We finished this good and truly joyful role-play and then went to do 'Arts and crafts' after it. Some funny amount of time has passed by as we all played together and enjoyed different activities and games. This is a very great day, for sure!

In time, all the children were slowly starting to go home. Their parents started coming to pick them one by one. There were four, then three, then two, then one... Then three, then four, then one... Then none. Every single little one went home by the end of our working time, as usual. It was soon my time to close the Daycare's big doors for the day and clean up the place.

Cleaning up the Daycare, I decided to check on Moon! Why wouldn't I? We are great friends, after all.

🌞- Hey, Moony! Are you awake? - I waited for his response.

🌜- Yeah, I almost died from boredom. Thanks for checking if you need to prepare a funeral for me. - He spoke in my mind.

I am very glad he decided to answer today! He wasn't much of a chatty person lately. That is not so surprising. He loves to have some space and time for himself. However, he used to be very eager to talk with me in our thoughts while I'm working. Maybe he is just tired, that's all.

🌞- How are you today, Moon? Had any interesting thoughts? Wanted to comment on anything that children did today?

🌜- I didn't really think much of anything today, to be honest. I slept most of the time.

🌞- Oh, really? Why is that?

🌜- There isn't really anything to do while being stuck in your thoughts, Sun. You are just there, thinking or sleeping.

🌞- Stuck? You aren't stuck in there, Moony! Nobody trapped you in our head.

🌜- You did.

🌞- What? ... Moon? - He wasn't answering. - ... Are you there? - I asked again. No response.

I tried to talk to him a few more times, but he continued to not give me any kind of response. Why wouldn't he answer me? He can't just say such a confusing thing and leave me like that! What did he even mean by that? 'I trapped' him? What is that even supposed to mean? I don't know... All I know is that he will have some explaining to do once he decides to speak up!
