It’s been a few hours since all of them departed from Bandar Kajang’s safe camp, heading to their respective area to ignite the antidote gas bomb and handing the vaccines to another safe camp.

The medic is about to clean Daniel’s wounds before he suddenly wakes up, terrified.

“It’s okay. You’re safe now. You’re back at the safe camp,” the medic said.

Daniel calms down but still flinches every time the medic gets closer to him.

“Where are my friends?”, Daniel asked one of the medic teams.

“They’re already on their last mission.”

“Last mission? What is it?”

“Professor William finally finished with the antidote. He created a gas bomb with it, alongside vaccines for everyone. Now, they’re on their way to ignite the bomb and hand the vaccines to another safe camp in Hulu Langat. Maybe later on, we’ll be able to reach another place as well. It’s a matter of time and Professor William also needs a lot of help doing it,” the medic team explained.

“What? Why didn't I know about it?”

Daniel’s body jolted up due to shock. The medic laid him back down to treat his wounds again.

“Please don’t move around that much. You’re still not healed yet. Karn didn’t want to bring you along for sure, considering your almost fatal condition. But luckily, you’re speaking now. You’ll do well.”

“How long are they outside now?”

“Five hours I think.”

“Five?! Are they okay?”

“Don’t be so surprised. Admiral Mika said they would take all day to go around Hulu Langat. They have copper with them. Nothing should go wrong.”

“Yeah say you. Out there are not just simple creatures! What if something happens to them and no one knows about it?!”

“Daniel, you need to be patient and focus on yourself first.”

The medic is struggling to keep him down as he keeps on getting up a few times.

“I need to meet Admiral Mika!”

“Nope! Stay here!”

“Let me go! Ugh! You’re so annoying!”

“Yeah, you annoyed me too!”, said the media before giving him anesthesia, since it’s what she has right now.

Daniel sleeps right after the drug goes through his blood vessels.

“What’s wrong? I heard him shouting,” Another medic went in.

“He just went feral because his team went to the last mission without him.”

“Make scenes. I saw one of his friends here before leaving. He looks genuinely worried.”

“Friend? Oh, the brunette guy?”

“Yeah, that one. They look so  close to each other.”

“I think the same way. I saw them hugging, the same night their friend escaped the cage. In front of the mini park.”

“Is it what I’m thinking?”,

“I don’t know. What are you thinking?”

“Are they…”

“Oh my gosh!”

Both of them ended up giggling like a moron and left the tent.
