The nurse told them to leave. They entered Maya’s ward again. Bella also woke up. She still looks groggy. She looks at the two of them. Nowa approached her.

“Are you okay?”, she patted her.

“Yeah. Where are you going?”

“Toilet. And Allan saw me leaving so he just checked me out.”

“And what’s the noise outside?”

“Some weird patient. Let’s get back to sleep. We’ll be leaving tomorrow.”

“Hmm.”

But before they managed to sleep again, the nurse screamed out loud, causing Allan and Nowa to be cautious again.

“What’s wrong?”, Maya asked, after hearing the scream.

“Honey, can you stand?”, Allan asked her.

“Of course. I already feel fine. Why?”

“Can you walk?”

Maya nodded. Allan quickly helped her to stand up. He carefully removed the IV drip needle from her hand and covered it with its cotton bud.

“We need to go. Whatever we saw inside the ward is definitely not human.”

“What do you see?”, Bella asked.

“We’ll explain to you later.

Allan takes a look outside before allowing them to exit the ward.

“Is everything fine outside?”, Nowa asked.

“The nurse is dead.”

“Dead?!”, all of them went into shock.

“What do you mean dead?”, Bella asked.

Nowa approaches Allan who’s still at the door. She takes a glimpse outside. The nurse is now landing in front of the ward, full of blood. There are scratches around her body. Her guts have been taken out. Nowa could see it clearly. She tries not to puke.

“That’s not looking good,” Nowa said.

“The patient is missing. She might be lingering around the hospital!”, Allan said.

“We have to leave?”, Maya asked.

“We need to. I believe, sooner or later this hospital will be full of them,” Nowa said.

All of them agreed to leave. Slowly, they walked outside the door. After making sure nothing dangerous is around them, they approach the elevator. Allan is kinda worried about making Maya and Nowa walk around in their state. Nowa pulls Bella even closer to her, making sure that she won’t lose this time.

As soon as they arrived in front of the elevator, Nowa saw something from afar. The patient. She walks around, looking horrendous. Lucky enough, she seems to not realize their existence as they’re far behind her.

“That’s her,” Nowa whispered.

“Let’s be quick!”, Allan said.

Luckily, they managed the escape. Existing at the hospital is also an inconvenience. The hospital itself looks fine like nothing happened but the surroundings are rather eerie than normal. Upon leaving the main entrance, they entered the car. No one seems to care about their car which is parked right in front of the main entrance.

“Careful,” Allan said to Maya, helping her get inside the car.

Talking about the experience, it actually traumatized him. Thinking that he almost lost his only one, he doesn’t want it to happen again. He collects all his strength and throws away the scaredy feelings just to make sure he stays rational to make them safe.  He gave a kiss to her forehead before moving on to the driver's seat. It’s actually painful for him to sit for such a long time since his injuries haven't recovered yet but they have no choice. And it’s impossible to give Bella the steering.
